Dead by Noon: Full Review
Dead by Noon Slot Review 2026
Dead by Noon is Hacksaw Gaming's Wild West shootout slot, built around Multiplier Chambers that can combine into one big number above the reels. The idea is genuinely clever. In my 100-spin session with the ante bet on, it just rarely came together, and what was left was a slow, fairly dull Hacksaw game. I came out ahead, but not because the game thrilled me.
FluxPlays score: 5.5 / 10. A neat combining-multiplier mechanic wrapped in a slow, unexciting package that did not earn a place in my rotation.

FluxPlays test session
I played 100 spins at 1 dollar with the ante bet on, which raised the cost to 3 per spin for a better bonus chance, so 300 total. I landed two natural bonus triggers, including a Super, and finished the session up 216. A winning session, but the wins came from variance rather than the game feeling rewarding to play.

Base game and paytable
It is a 5x4 grid with 14 paylines and a Row Cascade mechanic, winning combinations clear the bottom row and symbols drop down for potential consecutive wins. The Western theme is all gunslingers, revolvers and outlaw imagery, hand-painted in Hacksaw's gritty style.
Honestly, the base game did nothing for me. It is a fairly dull Hacksaw, slow in a way, with nothing exciting happening between features. Competent, but flat. Base game: 3 out of 5.

The bonus and the combining multipliers
The clever part is the Multiplier Chambers: Poker Chip symbols activate chambers above the reels that reveal multiplier digits, and these can combine into one large multiplier applied to line wins. When I landed the Super bonus, it retriggered and went on and on, which sounds great but did not feel special, until I landed multipliers on reels 1 and 2 and suddenly had a 68x multiplier sitting on the line hits. The potential was right there. Sadly nothing good connected, and the big multiplier paid out on small wins.
That is the story of Dead by Noon: the combining-multiplier idea is the most interesting thing about it, and it is rare enough that most sessions never see it pay off properly. Bonus: 3 out of 5.

Dead by Noon RTP, volatility and max win
Top version 96.27%, dropping through 94.39%, 92.18% and as low as 86.28%, so checking the info screen matters even more than usual here, our RTP guide shows how. Volatility is high to very high, the FeatureSpins buy modes are rated extreme, and our volatility guide explains why that means long dry spells. Max win is 10,000x, reachable through the combining multipliers and the High-Roller FeatureSpins buy, which carries roughly a 1 in 10 chance at the max but at a steep price.

Against Hacksaw's recent releases, Dead by Noon has the multiplier hook but the slowest, least engaging base game of the group. If you want a calmer Hacksaw, our Le Football Fan review covers a friendlier option. Dead by Noon is for players specifically drawn to the combining-multiplier mechanic.
Who should play Dead by Noon
Play it if the Western theme and the combining-multiplier idea genuinely appeal, and you accept high volatility with a slow base game. Skip it if you want fast, exciting gameplay or frequent action, this one tests your patience more than it rewards it.
