Our verdict
Big Bass Mission Fishin' keeps Big Bass Splash's pays, fish collect, 10x ladder and 5,000x cap under its rules, and adds a choice at every trigger: free spins with folder picks, or Stack the Cash, a coin respin round with robo-crabs and doubling bombs. Either can be bought for 100x at the same 96.50%, a little below Splash's 96.71%, and base-game wins still come from the lines alone.
Who it suits
Play this if…
- You want a choice at every trigger: free spins for the fish, or Stack the Cash for coins and robo-crabs
- You like Big Bass Splash's ladder: the same 2x, 3x and 10x steps and 5,000x cap, with modifiers you pick
- You want to try both rounds: the 100x buy covers either, at the same 96.50% RTP
Skip this if…
- You want fish cash outside the bonus: the tags and the diver wild belong to free spins alone
- You want Big Bass Splash's RTP: its rules give 96.71%, this game's 96.50%
- You need the base game to pay often: only 10 of our 100 spins won anything

Big Bass Mission Fishin': Full Review
Big Bass Mission Fishin' is a June 2024 Big Bass game from Reel Kingdom, released by Pragmatic Play. On familiar 5x3 reels and 10 lines, a trigger now asks you to select a mission: free spins with the fisherman collect, or Stack the Cash, a coin respin round with robo-crabs. The cap is 5,000x. We logged 100 spins of the Big Bass Mission Fishin' slot demo at $1 and bought each round once.

What is the Big Bass Mission Fishin' slot about?
The reels float in deep blue water with columns of bubbles between them, and the intro shows the fisherman in a black diving suit with a harpoon gun. The BUY FEATURE price and a HIGHER CHANCE TO WIN FEATURE switch sit on the left, above a REEL KINGDOM mark.
Wins pay from the leftmost reel on 10 lines, with only the highest win per line. At a $1 bet the speedboat pays $200 for five and $0.50 for two, the only two-symbol pay. The dragonfly pays $100, the harpoon gun and tackle box $50 each and the fish $20. Five A or K pay $10, five Q, J or 10 pay $5, and any three letters $0.20.
Each fish is also a money symbol, tagged on every spin with one of 11 values from 2x to 5,000x the bet. Those tags are won only in free spins. The wild, a bearded diver, appears only there too, and he stands in for every symbol except the scatter and the fish.
Spin 27 of 100 at $1, our first win: three fish on line 2 paid $1.00 of the $2.00, and the fish tags paid nothing. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
Big Bass Mission Fishin' bonus features
Help for a missing third scatter
The scatter, a fish with a harpoon, lands on all five reels. When a base spin shows two without a third, the scatters may drop a position while the other reels respin, or a hook can pull a reel up to reveal another.
Select your mission
Three or more scatters open a split screen headed SELECT YOUR MISSION: the diver for FREE SPINS on one side, fish coins for STACK THE CASH on the other. A buy leads to the same screen.
Spin 98 of 100 at $1: the natural trigger asks for a mission, and we chose free spins. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
Free spins and the folder picks
Free spins start at 10 for three scatters, 15 for four and 20 for five. Before the first spin you open TOP SECRET folders, six on our screens, and each one reveals a modifier until a boot ends the picks:
- More Fish: extra fish on the reel strips
- More Fisherman: extra wilds on the strips
- More Dynamites, Hooks and Bazookas: those three end-of-spin features fire more often
- Start From Level 2: collections begin at 2x
- +2 Spins: two spins added at the start and to every retrigger
The diver collect and the 10x ladder
Every diver that lands collects the value of each fish in view, and all of them count toward the ladder. The fourth adds 10 spins played at 2x, the eighth 10 more at 3x and the twelfth 10 more at 10x, after which the round cannot retrigger. New spins wait until the current batch ends.
At random, dynamite throws fish onto a free spin that shows divers but no fish, or a bazooka changes every symbol except the divers. When fish land without a diver, a hook can drag a reel up to bring one in. The round also runs on special reels.
Stack the Cash
Pick the other mission and only fish coins and blanks are left on the reels. Each coin carries 1x to 10x, or 25x, the base bet, and a robo-crab waits under each reel.
The round starts with 4 respins, and each new coin sticks and sets the count back to 4. A reel that fills with coins empties them into its robo-crab and clears. Whenever a new coin lands, a bomb hits a random reel and doubles its coins and its crab. When the respins run out, the robo-crab values are added together and paid.
Ante bet and the buy
The HIGHER CHANCE TO WIN FEATURE switch raises the bet multiplier from 10x to 15x, $1.50 at a $1 base bet, for more scatters and a likelier natural trigger. It turns the buy off and keeps the 96.50% RTP. We left it off: the game server's log shows ante level 0 on every round.
BUY FEATURE costs 100x the base bet, $100 at $1, at 96.50% too. The buy spin lands the scatters and only then shows SELECT YOUR MISSION, so one price covers both rounds.
Maximum win, RTP and bets
Wins are capped at 5,000x the bet, the top fish's value, and a free spins round that reaches it ends at once. The rules list bets from $0.10 to $375, above the $250 top bet review sites give, and a MEDIUM VOLATILITY badge where those sites say high.
What changed from Big Bass Splash
The rules of Big Bass Splash and this game overlap heavily: 10 lines on 5x3 reels, the same pay at every tier, 10, 15 or 20 free spins, the same five modifiers, dynamite, hook and bazooka, the 2x, 3x and 10x ladder, the 5,000x cap and a MEDIUM badge.
Mission Fishin' changes the route in: you pick the modifiers where Splash draws 0 to 5 at random, and Stack the Cash, the buy choice and an ante are new. The fish lose the 1,666x and 2,500x values, the wild no longer replaces fish, and the RTP falls from 96.71% to 96.50%.
Big Bass Amazon Xtreme, which we also tested, ends its picks on a boot as well, with 14 vases in place of six folders, and runs its trail on to 50x.

Played on the official demo with play money in a single session: spin 1 with an ordinary click, spins 2 to 100 started one at a time by a script clicking the spin button, without autoplay; quick spin from spin 2 (speed only). The ante (HIGHER CHANCE TO WIN FEATURE, $1.50 at $1) stayed off; the game server's log shows ante level 0 on every round. The game has no special modes and no gamble. The first 26 spins paid nothing, and 10 of 100 paid. Free spins triggered once, on spin 98: FREE SPINS chosen at SELECT YOUR MISSION, folder picks for 12 spins (the game server's data held the 12 spins before the first pick), two fishermen, no retrigger, $27.20. Spin 100's $50.00 was a single result: the other 99 spins returned $48.70, and without spin 98 as well, $21.50. The buy has one price for both rounds and the round is chosen after the buy, so we bought once per round: Free Spins ($100) gave 12 spins after four modifiers, a retrigger to 24 at 2x and $165.70; Stack the Cash ($100) ran 17 respins and paid $50.00; each a single result. Totals from the spin log: $300.00 staked, $314.40 returned, ending at $100,014.40. 100 spins and two buys cannot measure the RTP or the volatility.
The demo opened at $2.00 with the buy at $200; five presses of the minus button in the settings menu made them $1.00 and $100. A script pressed the spin button for spins 2 to 100, without autoplay.
The first 26 spins all lost, and only 10 of the 100 paid. Spin 27 broke the run with $2.00, spin 57 paid $10.00 and spin 67 $5.50, while four of the wins came in under $1.
Free spins arrived on spin 98, and we chose FREE SPINS. The game server's data shows the round already set at 12 spins before the first folder opened, so the picks revealed it rather than shaped it. Two divers, no retrigger: spin 98 paid $27.20 in all.
Spin 100, the last, lined up five tackle boxes on line 5 for $50.00, 50 times the bet.
Spin 100 of 100 at $1: five tackle boxes on line 5 paid $50.00, our best base win. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
Those two late spins carried the base game, which returned $98.70 of its $100.00. Without spins 98 and 100, the other 98 spins returned $21.50.
Because the round is chosen after the buy, testing both meant buying twice, at $100 each. The Free Spins buy's folders turned up More Fisherman, More Fish, +2 Spins and More Dynamites, Hooks and Bazookas before a boot, for 12 spins.
The first seven paid nothing. Then a $46.00 line win and collections of $5.00, $5.00 and $40.00 lifted the round to $96.00, and the fourth diver retriggered 12 more spins at 2x, two of them from +2 Spins. Those added $69.70.
Free spin 22 of our bought round: after the retrigger, a diver collects four fish at 2x. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
The round finished at $165.70 over 24 spins, 1.66 times its price.
The $100 Free Spins buy: $165.70 from 24 free spins after one retrigger, 1.66 times its price. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
The Stack the Cash buy ran 17 respins and paid $50.00, half its price. When it settled, the total panel read $50.00, with a few coins still on the grid.
The $100 Stack the Cash buy, settled: the robo-crabs paid $50.00 after 17 respins. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
We never saw the 3x or 10x levels, Start From Level 2 or a 25x coin, and we did not play the ante; those come from the rules.
Split by part of the game:
- 100 base spins at $1, with spin 98's free spins: $100.00 staked, $98.70 returned
- Free Spins bought at 100x: $100.00 staked, $165.70 returned
- Stack the Cash bought at 100x: $100.00 staked, $50.00 returned
Across the session $300.00 went in and $314.40 came out, ending the server balance at $100,014.40, exactly as our log has it. A sample this small says nothing about the 96.50% RTP or the medium badge.
Is Big Bass Mission Fishin' worth trying?
The choice sets it apart. Free spins chase fish tagged up to 5,000x, with a ladder that multiplies later catches by up to 10x. Stack the Cash builds from coins of 1x to 25x, banking full reels into the robo-crabs while bombs double a reel and its crab. Both buys cost 100x at 96.50%, so pick the round you enjoy.
The folders look like a second decision, but in our natural round the game server had already set the 12 spins before the first folder opened. The base game stays thin, with no wild and no fish cash. And for much the same free spins, Big Bass Splash's rules give 96.71%.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play the Big Bass Mission Fishin' demo for free?+
Yes. This page loads the official demo from Pragmatic Play's servers, with play credits and no account needed. Ours opened at a $2.00 bet with BUY FEATURE at $200, and five presses of the minus button in the settings menu brought them to $1.00 and $100. Both missions can be bought in the demo, as long as the $1.50 HIGHER CHANCE TO WIN FEATURE switch stays off.
Should I choose free spins or Stack the Cash in Big Bass Mission Fishin'?+
The rules give the buy one price, 100x, and one RTP, 96.50%, whichever round you take. Free spins aim at the fish, tagged up to 5,000x, with divers collecting them and every fourth diver adding spins at 2x, 3x and then 10x. Stack the Cash starts from coins of 1x to 25x, banks full reels into robo-crabs and uses bombs to double a reel and its crab. Our one bought round of each paid $165.70 and $50.00, single results that predict nothing.
How is Big Bass Mission Fishin' different from Big Bass Splash?+
Their rules share the 10 lines, the pay at every tier, the five free spins modifiers, the dynamite, hook and bazooka, the 2x, 3x and 10x ladder and the 5,000x cap. Mission Fishin' lets you pick the modifiers from folders instead of drawing them at random, adds Stack the Cash, an ante and a choice of round on the buy, and drops the 1,666x and 2,500x fish. Its RTP is 96.50% against Splash's 96.71%. We tested both on 18 October 2026.
What do the folders before the free spins do?+
They hold the round's modifiers. You open TOP SECRET folders, six on our screen, until a boot appears, and each one before it shows More Fish, More Fisherman, More Dynamites, Hooks and Bazookas, Start From Level 2 or +2 Spins. In our natural round the game server's data already held the 12-spin round before the first folder opened, so the picks revealed it. Our bought round found four of the five before the boot.
What are the RTP, volatility and max win of Big Bass Mission Fishin'?+
Under the rules it is 96.50% everywhere: normal play, the ante and the buy. Pragmatic Play's game page shows the same figure, and review sites add 95.50% and 94.50% versions that some casinos choose. The rules page carries a MEDIUM VOLATILITY badge, and every win is capped at 5,000x the bet, $5,000 at $1; a free spins round that reaches the cap ends on the spot.
