Our verdict
Eternal Diamonds puts a hold-and-respin round with three switchable modifiers behind a classic fruit-machine base game. The chip pots, mid-round modifiers and Expanding grids give the feature real variety, and the 10,000x Grand and 20,000x cap give it a high ceiling, but line wins top out at 3.75x for five 7s, so the base game leans heavily on wilds and the respins.
Who it suits
Play this if…
- You like hold-and-respin rounds with modifiers that change how they play
- You want a big ceiling on a classic-looking slot: a 10,000x Grand and a 20,000x cap
- You like choosing your start: three buys with one, two or three modifiers
Skip this if…
- You want meaningful line wins: five 7s, the top symbol, pay only 3.75x
- You expect a buy to pay its way: all three of ours returned less than they cost
- You want frequent features: the respins average one in 99.24 spins

Eternal Diamonds: Full Review
Eternal Diamonds is a Pragmatic Play slot with a classic look, red 7s, bells, cherries and BAR symbols on 5x3 reels with 50 paylines, set on a neon Las Vegas strip. Released on 10 September 2026, it is a high-volatility game with a 96.50% top RTP and a 20,000x cap. Three coloured chip pots above the reels feed a respin feature with two jackpots, a 625x Major and a 10,000x Grand. For this review we played 100 base spins of the Eternal Diamonds demo at $1 and bought all three respin rounds.

What is the Eternal Diamonds slot about?
The base game sits on a glittering strip of casinos, palm trees, a small Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty, with a blonde hostess in a purple dress holding up a diamond beside the reels. The reels have a gold-and-marble frame, and three gold pots labelled Multiplier, Expanding and Extra Spin sit on top. When the respins start, the scene moves indoors to a casino lounge.
The paytable is modest, like a classic fruit machine's. At a $1 bet, five red 7s pay $3.75, five bells $2.50, five horseshoes, cherries or BAR BAR blocks $2.00 and five card letters $1.25. The diamond wild lands on reels 2 to 5 and stands in for everything except the money diamonds and chips. Wins pay left to right on 50 lines, so a screen of wilds can pay many lines at once.
Pragmatic Play gives a hit rate of 28.08%, one spin in 3.56, and the respins once every 99.24 spins on average. Our base game paid on 19 of 100 spins.

Eternal Diamonds bonus features
Chips and pots
Blue, red and green chips land in the base game and are collected in the matching pot: blue for Multiplier, red for Expanding and green for Extra Spin. The rules say any collection can randomly trigger the respin feature, with one, two or three of those modifiers switched on.
The respin feature
During respins only blanks, money diamonds and chips land. The round starts with 3 respins, money symbols stay where they land, and every new diamond or chip resets the count to 3. Diamonds carry values from 0.2x to 125x the bet, and everything on the screen is paid when the respins run out. A chip of a colour that is not yet active can switch on its modifier partway through.
Spin 98: the respins triggered naturally with Multiplier and Expanding. FluxPlays demo test, 15 October 2026.
The three modifiers
Multiplier places random x2 to x100 multipliers on positions, which multiply whatever ends up there. Expanding gives each red chip its own special respin on a 2x2 grid that grows to 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 as it fills; the grid's total becomes the chip's value, and a full 5x5 adds the 625x Major. Extra Spin starts and resets the count at 3 plus one for each green chip that triggered it.
Jackpots and max win
The Major pays 625x and the Grand pays 10,000x, the Grand for ending the respin round with the whole screen filled. At a $1 bet their panels read $625.00 and $10,000.00. Any round that reaches 20,000x the bet ends at once.
Bonus buys
The Buy Respins panel offers three bonus buys: Respin 1 for 50x with at least one random modifier, Respin 2 for 150x with at least two, and Respin 3 for 250x with all three guaranteed. The rules list 96.51%, 96.51% and 96.50% RTP for them, against 96.50% for the base game. There is no ante bet.

Played on the official demo with play money, one base spin at a time. The game has no free spins; the trigger counted above is its respin feature, which started naturally on spin 98. Two spins made the base-game total: $51.35 on spin 94 and the $87.20 respin round; the other 98 returned $20.30. Spin 94 and Respin 3 are evidenced by their settled board and result screen, as the count-ups were missed. Totals: $550.00 staked, $341.00 returned.
Our 100 base spins at $1 returned $158.85, but two single spins made that figure, and neither says anything about what the game usually pays. Without them, the other 98 spins returned $20.30 from 17 wins, 10 of them under $1. In all, 81 spins paid nothing, and the longest dry run lasted 15 spins.
The first was spin 94. Four red 7s on reels 1 and 4 and eight diamond wilds across reels 2, 3 and 5 paid on 33 of the 50 lines, for $51.35, by far our biggest line win.
Spin 94 of 100 at $1: four 7s and eight wilds, $51.35 on 33 lines. FluxPlays demo test, 15 October 2026.
The second was spin 98, when the chip pots started the respins with Multiplier and Expanding. According to the server data, Extra Spin also switched on partway through, and the round ran 11 respins for $87.20, or 87.2x the bet.
The spin 98 respin round's result: $87.20 in 11 respins. FluxPlays demo test, 15 October 2026.
The buys did not pay back their prices. Respin 1 ($50) rolled Multiplier and Extra Spin; multipliers of x3 to x15 landed, a red chip later added Expanding, and it paid $31.30 over 14 respins. Respin 2 ($150) rolled Expanding and Extra Spin, one red chip's grid grew from 2x2 to 3x3, and it paid $39.65. Respin 3 ($250) had all three modifiers and paid $111.20 over 9 respins.
The end of our $150 Respin 2 round: 13 of 15 positions filled. FluxPlays demo test, 15 October 2026.
Across the base game and the buys we staked $550.00 and got $341.00 back. We never saw the Major or the Grand, an Expanding grid beyond 3x3, or a multiplier of x50 or x100. One natural round and three single buys say nothing reliable about the 96.50% RTP or the volatility.
Is Eternal Diamonds worth trying?
The chip pots and modifiers give a familiar hold-and-respin round real variety. Each colour changes the round in its own way, modifiers can join mid-round, and the Expanding grids, the 10,000x Grand and the 20,000x cap give it a high ceiling. The buys let you choose how many modifiers you start with, all at about 96.5% RTP.
The base game is the weak part. Five 7s pay only 3.75x, so ordinary line wins stay small and the game leans on wild-heavy screens and the respins. The respins arrive once every 99.24 spins on average, and a buy fixes only the starting modifiers, not what lands afterwards.
The game's rules page and intro screen label it high volatility, as does Pragmatic Play, although the three review sites we checked call it medium. We use the game's own label.
If you like hold-and-respin rounds with a second mini game, Sleeping Dragon Ultra Dark is a 5x3 game we have tested whose Money Egg opens a separate 3x3 respin game worth 400x when filled, with a 7,000x prize for a full screen.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play the Eternal Diamonds demo for free?+
Yes. This page loads Pragmatic Play's official Eternal Diamonds slot demo with play money, so no account or deposit is needed. It opens at a $2.00 bet, all three respin buys work, from $50 to $250 at a $1 bet, and after a buy a Rebuy button for the same option appears under the Buy Respins panel.
Is this the Eternal Diamonds slot by Pragmatic Play?+
Yes. Eternal Diamonds is also a jewellery name, but this page covers the Pragmatic Play slot released on 10 September 2026: a 5x3, 50-line game with chip pots, a respin feature and two jackpots.
What are the jackpots in Eternal Diamonds?+
Two fixed prizes. The Major pays 625x the bet for filling the 5x5 grid of an Expanding special respin, and the Grand pays 10,000x for ending the respin round with the whole screen filled. One review site lists them as 125x and 2,000x, but the game's rules give 625x and 10,000x. We saw neither in our test.
Is Eternal Diamonds high or medium volatility?+
High, according to the game's rules page and intro screen, and Pragmatic Play lists it the same way. The three review sites we checked call it medium; we follow the game's own label.
How do the chips trigger the respins in Eternal Diamonds?+
Blue, red and green chips that land in the base game are collected in three pots above the reels, and any collection can randomly start the respins with one, two or three modifiers: Multiplier, Expanding and Extra Spin. In our 100 spins that happened once, on spin 98, with Multiplier and Expanding.
