Our verdict
Golden Ticket packs its value into one paid spin: every drop lifts the multiplier, three-symbol wins leave a Golden Ticket wild, emptied columns reveal BONUS and open a shooting-gallery bonus whose multiplier counts the columns cleared, and a full clear pays 1,000x. The base symbols pay little, there is no buy, and the rules state no RTP or cap.
Who it suits
Play this if…
- You like cascades where every new drop raises the multiplier for the rest of the spin
- You want a bonus whose multiplier grows with the number of BONUS columns you clear at once
- You enjoy a clear base-game target: empty the whole grid for 1,000x the bet
Skip this if…
- You want free spins with special powers: the bonus is a separate shooting gallery
- You dislike small base wins: most three-symbol wins pay well under half the stake
- You want the RTP and cap from the game itself: its rules give neither

Golden Ticket: Full Review
The Golden Ticket slot is Play'n GO's circus grid game from October 2014: a 5x5 board where three or more matching symbols in a row or column pay, drop away and push a multiplier higher with every drop. Behind the grid hides the word BONUS; clear a whole column to reveal it and a shooting-gallery bonus begins, while clearing the entire board pays 1,000x the bet. We put the Golden Ticket demo through 100 spins at $1.

What is the Golden Ticket slot?
The grid stands in a circus tent at night, with the Multiplier sign and win list on the left and a white-faced clown under the Golden Ticket logo on the right. The symbols are the troupe and its props: a ringmaster, a strongman, a clown, whips, top hats, iron weights and skittles.
Any three or more matching symbols touching in a straight line, across or down, pay, and one symbol can count in several wins. Winning symbols vanish, the rest fall, new ones drop in, and each new drop raises the win multiplier for the round.
The Golden Ticket is the wild and stands in for any symbol. Each time a three-symbol win is removed, a fresh ticket appears in its middle spot. Five tickets in a row pay $500 at a $1 bet, by far the top line; the ringmaster pays $25 for five, the strongman and clown $15, and the weights and skittles $7.50 and $5.
Five quick buttons, 0.60 to 5.00 around the default, and a minus and a plus set the stake. The server's 15 coin values at 20 coins a spin give $0.20 to $100; the help text names no limits. There is no gamble, buy or ante.
Base spin 100 of 100 at $1, settled: the 5x5 circus grid with BON revealed behind column 2, a Golden Ticket wild, $0.75. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.
Golden Ticket bonus features
The rising multiplier and the full clear
The win multiplier climbs with every new drop, so a long chain of cascades pays its later wins at a higher rate. If every symbol leaves the grid, the game pays a special full-clear prize of 1,000.00 at a 1.00 bet, 1,000x the stake.
Paytable page 1 in our demo session: base pays at a 1.00 bet, the Golden Ticket wild 500 for five and 1000.00 for a full clear. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.
BONUS columns
The letters B, O, N, U and S sit behind the grid, one word per column, and show through as symbols are cleared. When a column empties completely and reveals BONUS, the bonus game starts. The more BONUS columns cleared in the round, the higher the bonus multiplier: one column plays at x1, and each extra column adds to it.
Base spin 48 of 100 at $1, settled: BON showing behind column 2 after the cascades, the multiplier at x2, $3.00 for the spin. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.
The shooting-gallery bonus
The bonus moves to a fairground shooting gallery with its own symbols and no wild. Wins need five or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid, and every win is multiplied by the bonus multiplier.
At x1 the clown pays $5 for five and $175 for ten, the lion $4 and $150, the elephant $3 and $120, the star $2 and $100 and the cupcake $1.50 and $90. The target, duck, balloon, drum and balloons pay $1.25 for five and $75 for ten.
Five or more bonus stars in a win add extra rounds, one per star, up to 20 rounds in a row.
The bonus award after base spin 61 at $1: You won 10 Bonus Rounds, 5 or more matching symbols win, at a x1 multiplier. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.
RTP, volatility and max win
Neither the help text nor the two paytable pages state an RTP or a maximum win; the only fixed prize is the 1,000x full clear, and the official page lists neither. Review sites list 96.73% as the top RTP version, others 96%, and they put the cap at 20,578x the bet. Most rate the game medium volatility; the demo shows no version.

Played on Play'n GO's official practice demo in one session on 20 October, from a 25,000.00 balance, with no reload or error. The demo shows credits without a currency label; we count one credit as one dollar. Every spin was at 1.00 (20 coins at 0.05 on the server), started one at a time by a script clicking START, without Auto Play. Golden Ticket has no bonus buy, ante, paid mode or gamble. The bonus game came once, on spin 61, from one cleared BONUS column: 10 rounds at x1, $27.25 with the trigger cascades, a single result. Not seen: a bonus multiplier above x1, bonus-star extra rounds and the 1,000x full clear. The rules state no RTP, so no version is shown. Totals from the server log: $100.00 staked, $62.85 returned, ending at 24,962.85 to the cent. A sample of 100 spins says nothing reliable about the RTP or the volatility.
We ran one practice session on 20 October with no reload and no errors. The credits carry no currency sign, and we count each one as $1. The bet stayed at 1.00, 20 coins of 0.05 on the server, and a script pressed START for each spin, without Auto Play.
The log reconciles to the cent: $100.00 staked, $62.85 returned, 24,962.85 at the end on the server and on screen. Wins came on 37 spins, 25 of them under $1, and 88 spins paid less than the stake. The longest losing run was 6 spins, 71 to 76, and the balance never rose above 25,000.30, its level after spin 2.
BONUS letters showed through often as columns emptied, BON on spins 48 and 100 among them, but a full column cleared only once. On spin 61 the base cascades paid $2.50 and opened one column, which gave 10 bonus rounds at x1.
Bonus round 9 of 10 after base spin 61 at $1, on the shooting-gallery shelves, with the win counter still running. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.
The rounds played through after one press of START. The wins we captured along the way were small, five balloons for $1.25 and six cupcakes for $4.00, and the bonus added $24.75 in all, for $27.25 with the trigger cascades, 27.25x the bet.
Base spin 61 of 100 at $1, settled after the bonus: BONUS revealed behind column 4 and WIN 27.25, credited. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.
That is a single result: without it the other 99 spins returned $35.60 from 36 wins, the best $4.45 on spin 50 with the multiplier up to x4.
With one column cleared, we never saw a multiplier above x1 in the bonus, bonus-star extra rounds or the 1,000x full clear. A hundred spins and one bonus at x1 cannot tell you the RTP or the volatility.
Is Golden Ticket worth trying?
Golden Ticket's appeal is the build-up inside one paid spin. Each drop raises the multiplier, three-symbol wins leave a wild behind, and emptied columns move you toward a bonus that pays more for every BONUS column cleared together. A full clear is the rare jackpot of the base game.
The weak side is the base pay table. Below the wild and ringmaster, most symbols pay 15 to 35 cents for three, and mixed whips or weights pay 15 cents. Our session went the usual way for that design: frequent small wins and one bonus doing most of the work.
By both games' rules, Moon Princess and Rise of Olympus run on the same base engine: a 5x5 grid, three in a row or column, a wild left in the middle of three-symbol wins and a multiplier for each drop. The difference is the clear. There, emptying the board starts free spins with characters' powers; here it pays 1,000x outright, and the bonus comes from BONUS columns instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play the Golden Ticket demo for free?+
Yes. This page runs Play'n GO's practice version with no account. It starts at 25,000 credits with no currency sign, on the 1.00 bet among buttons from 0.60 to 5.00, and you spin with the START button. Each round pays out by itself when the drops stop, and the bonus waits for one more press of START.
How do you trigger the bonus game in Golden Ticket?+
Clear every symbol from a column so the word BONUS behind it shows in full. The bonus multiplier equals the number of BONUS columns cleared, the gallery uses its own symbols with wins for five or more anywhere, and bonus stars add rounds up to 20. Ours came on spin 61 from one column: 10 rounds at x1.
What is the full-clear prize in Golden Ticket?+
If every symbol is removed from the 5x5 grid during a paid spin, the game pays a special full-clear win of 1,000.00 at a 1.00 bet, which is 1,000x the stake. It is the only fixed prize the rules name. Our 100 spins never emptied the board; the BONUS letters showed through often, but only one column cleared.
Is this the same game as Golden Ticket 2?+
No. Golden Ticket 2 is a separate Play'n GO game from September 2020, and other studios also use the name. This page covers the October 2014 original with its 5x5 circus grid, BONUS columns and shooting-gallery bonus, and every figure here comes from that game's own rules and our session on it.
What are the RTP and max win of Golden Ticket?+
The game states neither, and Play'n GO's page lists neither; its only fixed figure is 1,000x for a full clear. Review sites give 96.73% as the top RTP version, some 96%, and a maximum win of 20,578x the bet. The practice demo does not reveal its version, so check the casino's game information.
