Our verdict
Madame Destiny Megaways decides its bonus at the start: a Wheel of Fortune sets 5 to 12 free spins and one multiplier of 2x to 25x for every win, and retriggers add to both. The doubling wild works in the base game too, and the buy and ante carry a higher RTP than plain spins. You choose nothing, though, even when you buy, and the cap stops at 5,000x.

Skip this if…
- You want to choose your bonus: the wheel decides the spins and multiplier, even when you buy

What is the Madame Destiny Megaways slot about?
The reels sit inside a fortune teller's wagon, with red curtains, brass lanterns and a wood of bare trees behind, and a top row of four symbols runs over reels 2 to 5. The buy button and the ante switch hang on signs to the left, with a ways counter at the top right. In free spins the reels turn blue against a fiery backdrop, and a MULTIPLIER panel takes the logo's place.
Reels 1 and 6 hold up to seven symbols, and reels 2 to 5 up to eight counting the top row, which slides right to left. The 2,160 ways in our first frame came from reels of 3, 4, 5, 3, 3 and 4. Wins run left to right on adjacent reels from reel 1, with one pay per way, the highest.
At a $1 bet six owls pay $20, and two owls pay $1, the only two-of-a-kind win. The black cat pays $3.75 for six, the potion heart $2, the candles $1.50, and the tarot cards and the A $1.25, with K, Q, J and 10 at $1, down to $0.10 for three Qs, Js or 10s.
Spin 4 of 100 at $1: reels of 3, 4, 5, 3, 3 and 4 symbols make 2,160 ways, and the spin paid $4.80. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
Madame Destiny Megaways bonus features
Tumbles
Winning symbols are paid and vanish, the rest drop, and new symbols of the same size fill the gaps until no new win appears. Your balance updates when the whole sequence ends.
The doubling wild
Madame Destiny herself is the wild. She lands only on reels 2 to 6, never on reel 1, and stands in for every symbol except the crystal ball. Any winning combination that includes her is multiplied by 2x, in the base game and in free spins alike; the rules give the doubling per winning combination.
The rules: the wild appears only on reels 2 to 6 and doubles every winning combination it is part of. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
Crystal balls and the Wheel of Fortune
The crystal ball is the scatter and lands on all reels. Three, four, five or six pay 5x, 10x, 20x or 100x the bet and start free spins. Before the round a two-ring Wheel of Fortune turns: one ring gives 5, 8, 10 or 12 spins, the other a multiplier of 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 20x or 25x for the total win of every free spin, which holds unless a retrigger changes it.
The rules: the wheel awards 5 to 12 spins and a 2x to 25x multiplier, and retriggers add to both. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
Retriggers add to the wheel
Three or more crystal balls during the round spin the wheel again, and its spins and multiplier are added to the current values, with no limit on retriggers. A round running at 8x that lands a 5x on the retrigger wheel would carry on at 13x, with the new spins on top of those left.
Ante bet and Buy Free Spins
The DOUBLE CHANCE TO WIN FEATURE switch raises the bet multiplier from 20x to 25x, $1.25 at $1, adds crystal balls to the reels and doubles the free spins chance, but switches the buy off. Our test left it off, and the game server's log confirms that for every round.
BUY FREE SPINS costs 100x, $100 at $1, and still sends you to the wheel, so the buy fixes neither the spins nor the multiplier. Both options carry a 96.67% RTP in the rules, above the 96.56% for plain spins.
Maximum win, RTP and bets
Wins stop at 5,000x the bet, and a free spins round that reaches the cap ends at once. The rules give 96.56% for normal play, matching Pragmatic Play's game page. Bets run from $0.20 to $300, above the review sites' $100 or $125, and the rules show a MEDIUM VOLATILITY badge where those sites say high.

Played on the official demo with play money, base spins started one at a time by a script clicking the spin button, without autoplay, in a single session; quick spin from after spin 1 (speed only). The ante (DOUBLE CHANCE TO WIN, $1.25 at $1) stayed off; the game server's log shows it off on every round. The game has no special modes and no gamble. Free spins never triggered in the 100 base spins. Spin 28's $16.50 was a single result: the other 99 spins returned $70.50. The Free Spins buy ($100) landed 3 crystal balls for $5.00, and the wheel gave 8 spins at 8x (also in the game server's data); free spin 1 paid $104.80 and the free spins $208.00 in all, $213.00 with the scatter pay, a single result. Totals from the spin log: $200.00 staked, $300.00 returned, ending at $100,100.00. 100 spins and one buy cannot measure the RTP or the volatility.
We lowered the opening $2.00 bet to $1.00, which took the buy from $200 to $100, and played 100 base spins, each started by a script clicking the spin button rather than by autoplay. Quick spin, switched on after spin 1, changed only the speed, and the ante stayed off.
The base game paid fairly steadily: 31 spins paid, 15 under $1, 9 between $1 and $5 and 7 of $5 or more, and no dry run went past 10 spins (39 to 48). Spin 28 was the best, $16.00 on the first board and $0.50 from two tumbles on 7,200 ways, a single result; the other 99 spins returned $70.50. Free spins never started on their own.
Spin 28 of 100 at $1: $16.00 on the first board plus $0.50 from two tumbles, $16.50, our best base win. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
The $100 buy landed three crystal balls on reels 1, 5 and 6, which paid $5.00, and the wheel gave 8 free spins at 8x; the game server's data holds the same result, and the multiplier panel read 8x all round.
Free spin 1 paid $104.80 in one tumble sequence. Spins 3, 5, 6 and 7 added $40.80, $40.00, $20.80 and $1.60, and spins 2, 4 and 8 paid nothing. With no retrigger the free spins made $208.00, or $213.00 with the scatter pay, 2.13 times the price.
Free spin 1 at a $1 bet, partway through its tumbles, with the wheel's 8x on the panel. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
One spin carried half of it: without free spin 1 the other seven spins made $103.20. The round was a single result, and so was the wheel's draw; another spin of the wheel could have given anything from 5 spins at 2x to 12 at 25x. We never saw a retrigger.
The bought round settled: $213.00 from 8 free spins at 8x and the scatter pay. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
Base game and buy, side by side:
- Base game, 100 spins at $1: $100.00 in, $87.00 back
- Free Spins buy: $100.00 in, $213.00 back
That is $200.00 staked and $300.00 returned, and the server balance went from $100,000.00 to $100,100.00, as our log shows. A single bought round and 100 spins are no measure of a 96.56% RTP or of the medium label.
Is Madame Destiny Megaways worth trying?
It suits players who like a bonus decided at the start. The wheel sets one multiplier for every win in the round, up to 25x, and retriggers add to it instead of resetting it, so a long round can stack. The doubling wild works in the base game too, and the buy and the ante both carry a slightly higher RTP than plain spins.
The catch is that you control none of it. The buy still spins the wheel, so $100 can bring anything from 5 spins at 2x to 12 at 25x, and the cap stops at 5,000x. In the base game only the owl pays well, at 20x for six.
Next to Great Rhino Megaways, tested the same day on the same layout of up to 200,704 ways, the logic is reversed: there you pick the spins and the start, and the multiplier climbs with every tumble. The Dog House Megaways also multiplies wins with wilds, but there only some wilds carry 2x or 3x, and several in one win multiply each other.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play the Madame Destiny Megaways demo for free?+
Yes. This page runs Pragmatic Play's official Madame Destiny Megaways demo with play money and no sign-up. It started at a $2.00 bet for us; at $1.00 the buy costs $100. The buy works in the demo but does not let you pick the round, because the Wheel of Fortune still sets the spins and the multiplier. The DOUBLE CHANCE TO WIN switch on the left adds the ante.
Is Madame Destiny Megaways the same as Madame Destiny?+
No. This page covers the 2021 Megaways game, code vswaysmadame: six reels with up to 200,704 ways, tumbles, a wild that doubles wins and a Wheel of Fortune before free spins, under a 5,000x cap. Madame Destiny is the earlier original on 5x3 reels, from 2018 according to two review sites we checked. It has rules of its own, and we have not tested it.
How does the Wheel of Fortune work in Madame Destiny Megaways?+
Before free spins start, a two-ring wheel picks a number of spins (5, 8, 10 or 12) and a multiplier (2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 20x or 25x) for the total win of every free spin. A retrigger of three or more crystal balls spins it again and adds the new spins and multiplier to the current ones; some review sites say the new result replaces them, but the rules say add. Our wheel gave 8 spins at 8x.
Should I use the ante bet or the bonus buy in Madame Destiny Megaways?+
They exclude each other, since switching the ante on disables the buy. The ante raises each spin to $1.25 at a $1 base bet for twice the natural free spins chance; the buy takes you straight to the wheel for $100. Both run at 96.67% in the rules, a little above the 96.56% for plain spins. We tested the buy once, for $213.00 back, and left the ante off.
What are the RTP, volatility and max win of Madame Destiny Megaways?+
The rules give 96.56% for normal play, the figure on Pragmatic Play's game page, and 96.67% with the ante or the buy; three review sites we checked also list 95.70% and 94.63% versions for casinos. The rules show a MEDIUM VOLATILITY badge. The maximum win is 5,000x the bet, $5,000 at $1, and a round that reaches it ends at once. Our bought round paid 213x.
