Big Bass Vegas 1000 keeps the Big Bass collect formula with its Vegas twist: two fishermen, each with a meter and multiplier ladder of its own. The 1,000x fish and 15,000x cap give the bonus real reach and every option sits near 96.5% RTP, but the base game is quiet, and fish only pay when a fisherman lands with them, which no buy can guarantee.

Skip this if…

  • You want an active base game: 84 of our 100 spins paid nothing

What is the Big Bass Vegas 1000 slot about?

The fishing trip has moved to the Strip. The reels sit underwater below a skyline of gold-lit casino hotels, a glowing lion statue stands on the right, and treasure chests and gold coins cover the riverbed. Bonus screens switch to pink and blue neon signs, with a neon cowboy fisherman holding his rod beside the total.

The low pays are neon 10, J, Q, K and A, and the others are a flamingo, a pink speedboat, a rod and reel, and a tackle box full of casino chips and cards. Fish are the money symbols. Their cash values show in the base game too, but there fish pay only as an ordinary line symbol. Wins pay left to right on 10 fixed lines.

Pragmatic Play lists a hit rate of 13.58%, roughly one paying spin in 7.36, and one free spins trigger per 112.64 spins on average. Our base game was close to that hit rate, with 16 of 100 spins paying.

Big Bass Vegas 1000 bonus features

Scatters and the two-scatter help

Free spins need three scatters or more: three give 15 spins, four give 20 and five give 25. With only two, the game may step in, either respinning with the two scatters moved down a row or using a hook to pull a reel up and reveal a third. Both are chances, not promises.

Fisherman wilds and money fish

Free spins bring in two fisherman wilds in sunglasses, one dressed in blue and one in red. A fisherman collects the value of every fish on screen when he lands, so a round pays well only when fish and fishermen arrive together. Fish are worth 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x or 1,000x the bet.

Meters, retriggers and multipliers

Each colour fills its own meter, blue along the top of the reels and red along the bottom. Every fourth fisherman of a colour adds 10 free spins and raises that colour's collection multiplier, first to 2x, then 3x, then 10x. The meters fill separately, so one colour can collect at 10x while the other is still at 1x. A meter that has reached 10x cannot retrigger again.

Random help in free spins

Three random modifiers can rescue a spin. If fish land with no fisherman, a hook can pull a reel up to bring one in. If fishermen land with no fish, dynamite can add fish, or a bazooka can swap every symbol except the fishermen for new ones. A round that reaches 15,000x the bet ends on the spot, and any spins left are forfeited.

Ante bet and bonus buys

The ante bet raises the stake by half, to $1.50 at a $1 bet, for more scatters on the reels, and the rules say it disables Buy Free Spins. Buy Free Spins costs 100x and Buy Super Free Spins 450x, both with at least three scatters. The Super round changes one rule: three fishermen of a colour, not four, retrigger and step that meter up.

The rules list 96.53% RTP for both bonus buys and 96.52% with the ante.

What changed from Big Bass Vegas Double Down Deluxe

Big Bass Vegas 1000 follows Big Bass Vegas Double Down Deluxe from 2024 and keeps its two-fisherman, two-meter free spins as they were. What moves is the balance: the maximum win triples from 5,000x to 15,000x, while the top fish value drops from 5,000x to 1,000x.

Played on the official demo with play money, one base spin at a time. The ante bet stayed off, and the game has no Super Spins or other modes. Two scatters landed on 6 base spins, three on none, and the fish values on the base-game reels never pay. A single session plus two bought rounds cannot pin down the RTP or the volatility; it records what happened, nothing more.

The base game was slow going. Our 100 spins at $1 returned $42.00 from 16 wins, most of them $0.20 to $1, and the longest stretch without a win ran 18 spins, from spin 76 to spin 93. Two scatters landed on six spins. Three times the respin dropped them a row and spun the other reels, but no third scatter came, and the hook never showed.

Then, on spin 99, fish filled 11 of the 12 positions on reels 1 to 4. As line symbols they paid six lines of four at $5.00 each, $30.00 in all, or 30x the bet. The dollar tags on those fish, $2 to $15, paid nothing, because only a fisherman can collect them. Without that spin, the base game returned $12.00.

Big Bass Vegas 1000 settled board on spin 99 at a $1 bet: 11 gold-framed fish on reels 1 to 4 paying WIN $30.00Spin 99 of 100 at $1: $30.00 from six lines of fish. FluxPlays demo test, 15 October 2026.

The $100 Buy Free Spins landed four scatters for 20 spins and showed how much the round depends on fishermen. Only one arrived all round, a blue one on free spin 6, and he collected $17.00 of fish. On free spin 14 a 1,000x fish worth $1,000 landed with no fisherman to collect it, and nothing came to help. The round paid $17.00.

The $450 Buy Super Free Spins started with three scatters and 15 spins. With three fishermen per level in this mode, three red ones by free spin 15 and three blue ones by free spin 23 each added 10 spins, so the round ran 35 spins. Eight collections paid $2.50 to $27.00 each, and it finished on $83.50. Across both buys we spent $550 and got $100.50 back.

Big Bass Vegas 1000 result after the $450 Super buy: You have won $83.50 in 35 free spins, with both fisherman meters showingThe Super buy's result: $83.50 over 35 spins, after two retriggers. FluxPlays demo test, 15 October 2026.

We never saw free spins trigger on their own, a collection multiplier above 2x, a collection bigger than $27, or the hook, dynamite and bazooka, and the ante stayed off. One hundred base spins and two bought rounds are a thin sample, and they say nothing reliable about the 96.53% RTP or the medium rating.

Is Big Bass Vegas 1000 worth trying?

The appeal is the second fisherman. With a blue and a red wild, each collecting and each climbing its own meter, a free spins round has two routes toward the 10x collections, and the 1,000x fish and 15,000x cap give it real room at the top. Every option in the version we played sits at 96.52% or 96.53% RTP, and the medium rating matches every source we checked.

The catch is built into the formula: fish are worth nothing until a fisherman lands with them. The base game pays on about one spin in seven and leans on free spins, at one in 112.64 spins on average. A buy guarantees the round but not the fishermen: our $100 round saw just one.

If you like this collect-and-retrigger style, Golden Retriever is another Reel Kingdom game we have tested. Its dog wild collects money symbols in the same way, with retrigger multipliers of 2x, 5x and 10x, but it has a single wild and a 5,000x cap.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I play the Big Bass Vegas 1000 demo for free?+

Yes. This page runs Pragmatic Play's official play-money demo of Big Bass Vegas 1000, with no sign-up or deposit. It opens at a $2.00 bet, both buys work, and each one asks you to confirm the price and lets you change the bet first. The ante switch sits above the buys. It is the same demo we used for the test on this page.

What is the RTP of Big Bass Vegas 1000?+

The standard version returns 96.53%. Pragmatic Play also offers 95.52% and 94.52% versions, and the casino decides which one you get. The demo's rules list 96.53% for both buys and 96.52% with the ante switched on.

Is Big Bass Vegas 1000 the same as Big Bass Vegas Double Down Deluxe?+

No. Big Bass Vegas 1000 is the newer game, released in September 2026. It keeps the two fishermen and two meters of the 2024 game but raises the maximum win from 5,000x to 15,000x and lowers the top fish from 5,000x to 1,000x. Big Bass Bonanza 1000, which also turns up in searches, is a different game in the series.

How do the fishermen work in Big Bass Vegas 1000?+

They are wilds that only appear in free spins. A blue or red fisherman collects every fish value on screen and fills the meter of his colour. Every fourth one of a colour adds 10 spins and lifts that colour's collections to 2x, then 3x, then 10x. In Super Free Spins, three per step are enough.

How many free spins can you get in Big Bass Vegas 1000?+

Three, four or five scatters start 15, 20 or 25 free spins. Each retrigger adds 10 more, and each meter can retrigger three times before it tops out at 10x. Our $450 Super buy began with 15 spins and reached 35 after one red and one blue retrigger.
