FluxPlays verdict
Our verdict
Chaos Crew 3 keeps the series' formula and turns it up: Cranky Cats multiply each other in the base game, CHAOS spelled across a row starts an Epic Drop, and the lives bonuses add five Reel Multipliers fed by Glitch Dogs and, in The Korrupted K9, a Chaos Upgrade worth up to 100x. The cap is 30,000x in every mode. It is rated 5 out of 5, and the bonuses pay nothing until they end.
Who it suits
Play this if…
- You want multipliers that stack: cats multiply each other, and Reel Multipliers add up across five reels
- You liked Chaos Crew 2 and want Glitch Dogs, the Chaos Upgrade and a higher cap
- You want the series' highest cap: 30,000x, open in every mode
Skip this if…
- You want regular wins: the game is rated 5 out of 5 and both of our buys returned a third of their price
- You want to see a bonus pay as it goes: the lives rounds pay only at the end
- You want to buy the top round: An Epic Glitch needs five scatters or a K9 upgrade

Chaos Crew 3: Full Review
Chaos Crew 3 is the third game in Hacksaw Gaming's punk graffiti series, released in September 2025. Cranky Cat and Sketchy Skull are back on a 5x5, 19-line grid, now joined by Glitch Dogs that jump around the bonus. CHAOS spelled across a row starts an Epic Drop, and the cap is 30,000x. Our Chaos Crew 3 demo test covered 100 base spins at $1, both FeatureSpins modes and both bonus buys.

What is the Chaos Crew 3 slot about?
The setting is a neon graffiti alley at night, all purple, teal and acid green. Cranky Cat slouches on the left in a pink jacket; Sketchy Skull stands on the right in a HACKSAW T-shirt, holding two puppets. A "3" tag sits between the pair at the top left, and the bonuses swap the alley for blacked-out tiles, or a junkyard of bones in The Korrupted K9.
Wins pay on 19 fixed lines, three of a kind or more from the leftmost reel. The five low symbols are the letters C, H, A, O and S, each paying $0.10 for three and $2 for five at a $1 bet. The hang-loose hand and the brain pay $0.50 to $5, the stop sign and the pizza slice $1 to $7.50, and the red rocket-shaped shark, the top symbol, $2 to $10.
Five Cranky Cats pay $10.
The review sites we checked put the hit rate at about 31%; our base game won on 29 of 100 spins.
Chaos Crew 3 before our first spin, still at the demo's opening $2.00 bet: Cranky Cat on the left, Sketchy Skull on the right. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.
Chaos Crew 3 bonus features
Cranky Cat wild multipliers
Cranky Cat is the wild. It stands in for every paying symbol and multiplies any win it joins by x2, x3, x4, x5, x10 or x20. Two or more in the same win multiply each other first, so a x2 and a x4 make x8. Only one can land per reel in the base game.
Base spin 33 at $1, settled: Cranky Cats of x2 and x4 on reels 1 and 2 multiplied three line wins to $8.80. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.
CHAOS Epic Drop
When the five letters land across a row spelling CHAOS, they trigger an Epic Drop reward spin. Every regular symbol turns dead, a Reel Multiplier starting at 1x appears above each reel, and the five letters become Glitch Dogs that jump to new squares and glitch into Crazy Multipliers.
There are four kinds. A Sketchy Skull adds its value to its own reel and an Epic Sketchy Skull to every reel, at 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x or 100x. A Cranky Cat multiplies its own reel and an Epic Cranky Cat every reel, at x2 to x20. The five Reel Multipliers are then added together and paid as a multiple of the bet.
CTRL + ALT + CHAOS
Three FS scatters at once start the series' signature round, here with 3 refilling lives on a Life Meter. Only dead symbols, Glitch Dogs and Crazy Multipliers land. Every Crazy Multiplier refills the lives; a Glitch Dog does so only the first time it lands, then stays to glitch into a Crazy Multiplier at each reveal before jumping to a new square.
The Reel Multipliers start at 1x and keep building for the whole round. When the lives run out, all five are added up and paid.
CTRL + ALT + CHAOS from our $100 buy: a x2 Cranky Cat on dead tiles, Reel Multipliers at 3x, 3x, 3x, 6x and 6x, nothing paid yet. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.
The Korrupted K9
Four scatters give the same lives round with a head start: at least four Crazy Multipliers and one Glitch Dog from the first spin. It also adds the Chaos Upgrade, which raises every Crazy Multiplier and Glitch Dog in its 3x3 square by 1x to 100x before they feed the Reel Multipliers. Only one can be on the grid, it does not refill lives, and it leaves after the spin.
The Korrupted K9 from our $200 buy: a Glitch Dog on reel 5 in the junkyard, Reel Multipliers at 2x, 1x, 3x, 2x and 9x, nothing paid yet. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.
An Epic Glitch!
Five scatters at once open the Hidden Epic Bonus: The Korrupted K9 rules with a full grid of Crazy Multipliers, a Chaos Upgrade and at least one Glitch Dog from the start. There is no buy card for it.
The K9 card says buying that round may lead into it, and some listings show it as its own buy, but the menu has only the four options below. Ours never upgraded.
Bonus buys and FeatureSpins
- BonusHunt FeatureSpins: 5x a spin, ten times the bonus chance; 96.29% RTP, labelled Extreme
- Byte Me Epic Drop FeatureSpins: 200x a spin, at least five Crazy Multipliers every time and no FS symbols; 96.38%, High
- CTRL + ALT + CHAOS: 100x; 96.41%, Very high
- The Korrupted K9: 200x; 96.36%, Very high
The two FeatureSpins modes run until you press DISABLE, while the two bonus buys go straight into their rounds. Every mode can reach 30,000x. The demo's rules allow bets from $0.10 to $2,000, with buys allowed above that, while the review sites give $30, $100 or $200 as the top bet.
The buy menu at a $1 bet: BonusHunt and Byte Me Epic Drop FeatureSpins, then CTRL + ALT + CHAOS and The Korrupted K9. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.

Played on Hacksaw Gaming's official demo in US dollars, in one session from $5,000.00 to $5,225.20, matching the screen, with every round checked against the game server's log. BonusHunt FeatureSpins: 10 spins at $5, $0.20 back, no bonus. Byte Me Epic Drop FeatureSpins: 10 spins at $200, $2,000.00 in, $2,529.00 back, every spin paid, $983.00 of it on spin 10. Totals from the spin log: $2,450.00 staked, $2,675.20 returned. No natural Epic Drop, bonus or An Epic Glitch was seen. A sample this size cannot measure the RTP or the volatility.
The whole test ran in one session of Hacksaw Gaming's official demo, in US dollars from the $5,000 starting balance. Each round was checked against the game server's log, and the session closed at $5,225.20, the figure on screen.
The 100 base spins at $1 paid out $48.00 on 29 winning spins, 14 of them under $1. Every base win above $5 involved a Cranky Cat: $8.80 on spin 33 from a x2 and a x4 together, $8.40 on spin 78, $8.10 on spin 35, and $6.00 on spin 15 from a x3 on a $2.00 line.
The longest dry run lasted 10 spins, and neither the CHAOS Epic Drop nor a bonus turned up.
BonusHunt costs $5 a spin in this game. Ten spins brought two $0.10 wins and no bonus, $0.20 back from $50.00.
Byte Me at $200 a spin was where this session made its money. Every spin was an Epic Drop and every one paid, from $68.00 to $983.00, with four above the stake: $309.00, $217.00, $411.00 and $983.00.
The $983.00 came on the tenth spin, an EPIC WIN, from eleven Crazy Multipliers worth up to 15x. The Reel Multipliers are paid on the $1 base bet, not the $200 price. The mode returned $2,529.00 from $2,000.00, and $1,546.00 without that last spin.
Byte Me spin 10 at $200, settled: eleven Crazy Multipliers from x2 to 15x across the grid, $983.00 paid on the $1 base bet. FluxPlays demo test, 20 October 2026.
The $100 CTRL + ALT + CHAOS buy kept its lives going for 16 spins. The TOTAL WIN counter sat at $0.00 throughout, and the Reel Multipliers ended at 33x in total, so the round paid $33.00.
The $200 Korrupted K9 buy ran 12 spins. Its Reel Multipliers reached 65x in total for $65.00, and it did not turn into An Epic Glitch.
Each buy is one round, a single result. Mode by mode:
- Base game, 100 spins at $1: $100.00 in, $48.00 back
- BonusHunt FeatureSpins, 10 spins at $5: $50.00 in, $0.20 back
- Byte Me Epic Drop FeatureSpins, 10 spins at $200: $2,000.00 in, $2,529.00 back
- CTRL + ALT + CHAOS buy at 100x: $100.00 in, $33.00 back
- The Korrupted K9 buy at 200x: $200.00 in, $65.00 back
The log totals the session at $2,450.00 staked and $2,675.20 returned. The rules screen showed 96.18%. We never saw a natural Epic Drop, a natural bonus or An Epic Glitch, and 100 spins says nothing reliable about the RTP or the 5 out of 5 rating.
Is Chaos Crew 3 worth trying?
Chaos Crew 3 is built for big multipliers, not steady play. In the base game the Cranky Cats can multiply each other up to x20 apiece, and in every bonus the five Reel Multipliers grow and are added up, with Epic symbols that hit all reels and a Chaos Upgrade that can add up to 100x across a 3x3 block. The 30,000x cap is open in every mode.
The cost is the waiting. Hacksaw rates it 5 out of 5 for volatility, the lives rounds pay nothing until they end, and a short round can stop on low Reel Multipliers, as both of our buys did: $33.00 from the $100 round and $65.00 from the $200 one, a single result each.
Byte Me forces an Epic Drop on every spin for 200x, a heavy price that our session happened to beat.
Besides the 96.18% our demo ran, two of the review sites list lower versions of 94.17%, 92.27% and 86.19%.
Chaos Crew 2, from 2023, is the direct predecessor, by both games' rules. It already had the 5x5, 19-line grid, the x2 to x20 Cranky Cat and a bonus whose Reel Multipliers are added up at the end, but its Epic Drop came at random rather than from the CHAOS letters. It also has sticky skulls and a Best of Bonus.
Chaos Crew 3 swaps those for Glitch Dogs, the Chaos Upgrade and a hidden fifth-scatter round, and lifts the cap from 20,000x to 30,000x.
Chaos Crew, the 2020 original, played on 15 lines with base-game cats of x2 to x5, one 129x buy and a 10,000x cap.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play the Chaos Crew 3 demo for free?+
Yes, on this page, in Hacksaw Gaming's own demo with $5,000 of play money and a $2.00 opening bet. All four buy cards work, and Byte Me Epic Drop FeatureSpins is the quickest way to watch the Reel Multipliers at work, since every spin drops at least five Crazy Multipliers, at 200x the bet.
What is new in Chaos Crew 3 compared with Chaos Crew 2?+
The Glitch Dog, which jumps around the lives bonus and glitches into a Crazy Multiplier at every reveal; the CHAOS letters that trigger the Epic Drop; the Chaos Upgrade in The Korrupted K9; and a hidden fifth-scatter round, An Epic Glitch. The cap rises from 20,000x to 30,000x, and the Best of Bonus is gone.
Can you buy An Epic Glitch in Chaos Crew 3?+
No. The demo's buy menu offers BonusHunt, Byte Me, CTRL + ALT + CHAOS and The Korrupted K9 only. An Epic Glitch comes from five scatters at once, and the K9 card says buying that round may lead into it. Our $200 Korrupted K9 paid $65.00 and did not upgrade.
What is the max win and RTP of Chaos Crew 3?+
30,000x the bet, open in every mode. Our demo's rules gave 96.18%, the version all three review sites we checked list first; two of them also give 94.17%, 92.27% and 86.19%. The buys run at 96.41% and 96.36%, and Byte Me at 96.38%.
