Helios - Triple Sun

Helios - Triple Sun is a Pragmatic Play slot in which the Greek sun god, spear and shield in hand, stands beside a 6x5 pay-anywhere grid under three suns: one red, one yellow and one blue. Released on 14 September 2026, it is a medium-volatility tumble game with a 96.46% top RTP and a 5,000x cap. Each sun stands for a free spins modifier, and any mix of them can start the round. We tested the Helios Triple Sun demo over 100 base spins at $1 and bought both bonus rounds.

What is the Helios - Triple Sun slot about?

The grid floats among pink clouds and white marble temples, framed in gold, with the three suns blazing along its top edge and Helios, golden-haired and armoured, on the right. In free spins the whole scene brightens to gold, and the total multiplier appears as a gold sun badge in the top-left corner.

Eight or more of one symbol anywhere make a win, paid in bands of 8 to 9, 10 to 11 and 12 or more, and there is no wild. At a $1 bet the crown pays $10, $25 or $50, the only symbol worth 10x for the minimum eight; the sun medallion, amphora, ring and red heart follow, and eight green or blue gems pay just $0.25. Every win tumbles, and a side panel lists each tumble's pays.

Helios - Triple Sun bonus features

Sun scatters

Red, yellow and blue sun scatters land in the base game and can carry a random multiplier of 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x or 100x, applied to that tumble sequence's total. Each one is collected into the sun of its colour above the reels, and at random one, two or all three suns can trigger free spins, each bringing its own modifier.

Free spins and the three modifiers

The round starts with 8 free spins. Red adds multiplier symbols of 2x to 100x that stay through the tumbles and multiply each sequence's total; yellow opens an extra row at the top of reels 2 to 5; blue adds a total multiplier that grows by 1x with every tumble for the rest of the round. A sun scatter collected in free spins adds 3 spins and can switch on a missing modifier.

Ante bet and bonus buys

The ante raises the stake by half, to $1.50 at a $1 bet, for a higher chance of free spins, at 96.57% RTP; we did not play it. The two bonus buys are Free Spins for 80x, with one to three modifiers chosen at random, and Super Free Spins for 200x, with all three guaranteed. The rules list them at 96.51% and 96.53%, against 96.46% for the base game.

Our Helios - Triple Sun demo test

Our 100 base spins at $1 returned $99.75, almost exactly what we staked, but one natural free spins round made $74 of that, a single result rather than a pattern. Without it, the base game returned $25.75. Wins came often, 35 in all, and the longest dry run was only 7 spins, but 24 of them paid under $1, mostly $0.25 to $0.75 tumbles.

According to the server log, the best plain tumble was $2.50 on spin 94, and no plain tumble reached 5x the bet.

The natural round came on spin 91 with one sun. On screen it ran with a growing total multiplier, the blue sun's modifier. The server log shows that multiplier reaching x9, and one tumble sequence on free spin 6 took the round from $10.75 to $74.00, most of it on the final step.

The $80 Free Spins buy rolled red and yellow, and the capture shows both at work: the taller middle reels and 2x multiplier suns on the grid. Free spins 1 to 4 paid nothing, then a tumble sequence on free spin 5 jumped from $4.75 to $19.00 on its last step, when the multipliers applied, and the round finished on $21.25.

The $200 Super Free Spins had all three suns. The server log shows its total multiplier climbing from x1 to x13, with the biggest jumps on free spin 2 ($4.00 to $36.00), free spin 4 ($47.50 to $76.00) and the final tumble ($93.25 to $105.25). It paid $105.25. None of our three rounds added the +3 spins.

Across the base game and both buys we staked $380.00 and got $226.25 back. We never saw a sun scatter carry a multiplier, a 50x or 100x multiplier symbol, extra free spins or the ante. One natural round and two buys say nothing reliable about the 96.46% RTP or the volatility.

Is Helios - Triple Sun worth trying?

The three suns give the free spins real variety. The modifiers can combine in any mix, a missing one can switch on mid-round, and the blue sun's total multiplier keeps every later tumble growing. In the base game, sun scatters can multiply a whole tumble sequence, and in our test wins came on 35 of 100 spins.

The ceiling is modest at 5,000x the bet, and the base RTP of 96.46% sits slightly below the buys and the ante. Most base wins are small, since eight of the low gems pay a quarter of the bet, and a cheaper buy may roll only one modifier.

The game's rules page calls it medium volatility, as do Pragmatic Play and two of the three review sites we checked; the third lists it as medium to high. We use the game's own label.
