Ra vs Osiris is a Pragmatic Play slot that pits the falcon-headed sun god against the green lord of the underworld on 5x5 reels with 15 paylines. Released on 3 September 2026, it has a 25,000x cap and lets you choose a Ra or Osiris profile, each with its own bonus odds and prices. What is the Ra vs Osiris slot about?

The game opens on a split screen, fiery Ra on the left and glowing green Osiris on the right, with "Choose volatility" between them. Ra plays in a desert temple at sunset; Osiris turns the same reels into a green underworld with bandages around the frame. A switch beside the reels lets you change sides in the base game.

Each profile has its own five premiums with the same pays: Ra, a lioness, a heron, a cobra and a scarab, or Osiris, Anubis, a crocodile, a purple snake and a scorpion. At a $1 bet the god pays $20 for five, the next two $10, the last two $5 and the card royals $1. A regular wild substitutes on all reels and pays $20 for five.

Pragmatic Play publishes one free spins trigger per 204.76 spins; the rules say Ra triggers more often than Osiris but give no separate figures.

Versus wilds

The VS symbols are expanding wilds. When one would complete a win, it fills its reel and takes a random multiplier from 2x to 1,000x: 2x to 10x in single steps, then 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x and 500x. Multipliers apply to every win the wild is part of and add together across wilds. A versus wild that cannot make a win stays a single symbol.

Free spins and walking wilds

Three, four or five scatters award 6 free spins with a minimum wild multiplier of 2x, 4x or 8x, which a gamble wheel can raise one step at a time to 100x, at the risk of losing the round. In free spins every versus wild walks: after it expands, the game respins and the wild moves one reel left each time, keeping its multiplier, until it leaves the grid.

Three, four or five scatters during the round add 6 spins and raise the minimum multiplier by one, two or three steps, up to 1,000x. A round that reaches 25,000x the bet ends there.

Super Spins and buys

Three Super Spins guarantee a versus wild with a multiplier every spin, though it still expands only on a win. Super Spin 1 can turn it into a walking wild; Super Spin 2 guarantees at least 8x and Super Spin 3 at least 100x, both with walking respins. At a $1 base bet they cost $20, $100 and $1,000 in Ra and double in Osiris.

The bonus buys also follow the profile: Ra Free Spins for 100x and Super Free Spins for 250x with an 8x minimum, or Osiris Free Spins for 200x, starting at 2x, 4x or 8x, and Super Free Spins for 500x at 8x. What changed from Zeus vs Hades - Gods of War

Ra vs Osiris follows the versus format of Zeus vs Hades - Gods of War. Its wilds walk left with respins in free spins instead of staying in place, the top multiplier rises from 100x to 1,000x, and the 25,000x cap matches Zeus vs Hades - Gods of War 250.

Our Ra vs Osiris demo test

The test ran in two demo sessions: the first expired while we paused after spin 7 of Ra Super Spin 3, so its last three spins and the Osiris Super Spins ran in a new one. In total we staked $34,750.00 and got $39,283.70 back. Most of the gain came from two single Super Spin 3 spins, $12,600 on Osiris at $2,000 and $6,300 on Ra at $1,000: one-off results, not evidence that the modes pay.

We played the base game only in the Ra profile; Osiris was tested only through its buys and Super Spins, never its base game. Our 100 Ra spins at $1 returned $35.70 from 16 wins, half under $1, with a longest dry run of 13. Versus wilds landed on six spins at 2x to 4x, the best paying $16.00 on spin 81, and scatters never reached three.

All four buys gave exactly 6 free spins with no retrigger, and we never gambled. Ra Free Spins ($100) paid $5.00. Ra Super Free Spins ($250) paid $216.80, $195.70 of it from one chain of 15x and 8x walking wilds. Osiris Free Spins ($200) paid $144.40 and Osiris Super Free Spins ($500) $104.20. Super Spin 3 came out ahead in both profiles and the other two did not, but each result rests on two or three spins out of ten. Across all six modes, 33 of 60 spins paid nothing.

We never saw a natural trigger, a retrigger, a gamble played out, a minimum multiplier above 8x or the Osiris base game. A test of this size measures neither the RTP nor the volatility.

Is Ra vs Osiris worth trying?

The versus wilds are well built: a reel-sized wild with up to 1,000x, walking left with a respin each step in free spins, gives every bonus a way to snowball. The profiles offer a real choice between Ra's more frequent, smaller bonuses and Osiris's rarer, bigger ones, and every option sits between 96.51% and 96.58% RTP.

The base game leans on those wilds, which expand only on a win, so most spins are quiet. Every bonus starts with just 6 spins, the gamble can cost the round, and Osiris doubles every buy and Super Spin price.
