FluxPlays verdict
Our verdict
Cleocatra builds its free spins on sticky wilds: every wild on reels 2 to 5 stays with its x2 or x3, and shared lines add the multipliers, so a round improves as it goes. The base game is thinner, the cat-stack respin is never guaranteed, three scatters give 8 spins, and wins stop at 5,000x at a 96.20% RTP.
Who it suits
Play this if…
- You like sticky wild rounds: every wild on reels 2 to 5 stays for the whole round

Skip this if…
- You want a lively base game: our 100 spins returned $23.40, with no win above $3.35
- You want a guaranteed respin: a full cat stack can start it but need not
- You want a high ceiling: wins stop at 5,000x

What is the Cleocatra slot about?
The reels stand in a sandstone temple between painted columns, with pyramids, palms and blue sky behind and a purple guardian statue with a staff on each side. A BUY FREE SPINS panel sits on the left and a small PRAGMATIC PLAY mark bottom left. In free spins the sky turns to night under a full moon.
Wins pay left to right on 40 fixed lines. Four cats lead the paytable at a $1 bet: Cleocatra herself pays $20 for five, the pharaoh cat $12.50, the sphynx $7.50 and the purple-haired cat $5. The ankh pays $3.75 and the crook and flail $2.50. A and K pay $1.50 for five, Q, J and 10 pay $1, and three of the last three return $0.10.
Spin 61 of 100 at $1: a x2 wild on reel 2 and a $2.20 win, our first of $2 or more. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
Cleocatra bonus features
Multiplier wilds on reels 2 to 5
The wild is a paw print on a pyramid and lands only on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5, so it never starts a line. It substitutes for every symbol except the scatter, and each one arrives with a random x2 or x3 that applies to every win it is part of. Two or more wilds in the same win add their multipliers: x2 and x3 make x5.
The cat-stack respin
In the base game, a full stack of one cat, four high on reel 1, can start a respin; the rules say it can, not that it always does. When it starts, every cat of that type and every wild stays in place, and the other positions keep respinning until at least one win with the stacked cat forms.
The rules: a full cat stack on reel 1 can start respins until a win forms, and wilds stick in free spins. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
Scatters and free spins with sticky wilds
The golden paw coin is the scatter, lands on all reels and pays anywhere: three or more pay 5x the total bet. In the base game three, four or five award 8, 12 or 16 free spins. During the round every wild that lands on reels 2 to 5 stays to the end with its multiplier, and a full stack of any cat on reel 1 adds 2 more spins.
Buy Free Spins
The round can be bought for 100x the total bet, $100 at $1. There is one price and no choice of round: three, four or five scatters land at random on the bought spin, for 8, 12 or 16 spins. The rules give the buy the same 96.20% RTP as normal play, and there is no ante bet or special mode.
Maximum win, RTP and bets
Wins stop at 5,000x the bet, $5,000 at $1, in the base game and in any feature, and a round that reaches the cap ends there. The rules give a 96.20% RTP and bets from $0.20 to $240, against the $100 top bet the review sites we checked list, and a MEDIUM VOLATILITY badge, repeated on the intro screen, where all three sites say high.

Played on the official demo with play money in a single session: spin 1 with an ordinary click, spins 2 to 100 started one at a time by a script clicking the spin button, without autoplay; quick spin from spin 2 (speed only). The game has no ante bet, special modes or gamble. Free spins and the cat-stack respin never triggered in the 100 base spins. Spin 99's $3.35 was a single result: the other 99 spins returned $20.05. The Free Spins buy ($100) landed 3 scatters, which paid $5.00, for 8 spins; the first three paid nothing and the last five $32.90, $37.90 in all, no retrigger, a single result. Totals from the spin log: $200.00 staked, $61.30 returned, ending at $99,861.30. 100 spins and one buy cannot measure the RTP or the volatility.
Our demo opened at $2.00 with the buy at $200, and five steps down on the minus button left the bet at $1.00 and the buy at $100. We played spin 1 by hand and let a script click the spin button for the other 99, without autoplay; quick spin from spin 2 only sped things up.
The base game was thin. 29 spins paid, 19 of them under $1 and the other 10 between $1 and $3.35, and the 100 spins returned $23.40 in all. Spins 10 to 24 paid nothing, 15 in a row, and no spin reached $2 until spin 61.
The best base result came on spin 99. Line 35 ran ankh, x2 wild, ankh, x2 wild, and the game showed the result on screen: "LINE 35 PAYS $0.75 x 4 = $3.00". A $0.35 line made it $3.35, a single result; the other 99 spins returned $20.05.
Spin 99 of 100 at $1: two x2 wilds on line 35 added to x4 for $3.00, and a second line made it $3.35. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
Neither feature started on its own: the respin never fired and free spins never triggered in the 100 base spins, so the respin is described from the rules.
The $100 buy landed three scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4. They paid $5.00 and awarded 8 free spins, the smallest of the three awards.
Our $100 buy at $1: three paw scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 started 8 free spins. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
The first three free spins paid nothing, but the wilds they left behind stayed. By free spin 5 three sticky wilds held x2, x2 and x3 on reels 2 to 4, and the round stood at $10.30 with the scatter pay. The last three spins then paid $10.10, $8.00 and $9.50.
After free spin 5 of our bought round: sticky wilds of x2, x2 and x3 on reels 2 to 4, with the round at $10.30. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
By the last spin six sticky wilds sat on reels 2 to 4, two at x3 and four at x2. Spins 4 to 8 paid $32.90 between them, and with the $5.00 scatter pay the round came to $37.90, 0.38 times the price. No retrigger came.
The $100 buy's result: $37.90 in 8 free spins at $1. FluxPlays demo test, 18 October 2026.
We never saw the 12 or 16 spin awards, a retrigger or the respin.
The two parts of the session:
- Base game, 100 spins at $1: $100.00 in, $23.40 back
- Free Spins buy at 100x: $100.00 in, $37.90 back
That made $200.00 staked and $61.30 returned, and the server balance went from $100,000.00 to $99,861.30, the same as our log. 100 spins and one bought round are far too few to check a 96.20% RTP or the medium badge.
Is Cleocatra worth trying?
The free spins are where this game earns its place. Sticky wilds on four reels keep their x2 or x3 and add up on shared lines, so a round gets better as it goes: ours paid nothing for three spins and $32.90 over the last five. The base game has its own multiplier wilds and the cat-stack respin to lean on.
The limits are just as clear. The respin is never guaranteed, the base wins are small, and three scatters give 8 spins with only a cat stack to extend them. Our 100 base spins returned $23.40. The cap stops at 5,000x and the RTP sits at 96.20%.
Wild West Gold, which we also tested, runs on the same 5x4, 40-line layout with the same paytable at every step, from $20 for five sheriffs down to $0.10 for three 10s. Its wilds land on reels 2 to 4 only but reach x5, a round below 10x pays 10x anyway, and it caps at 10,000x under a low badge.
The Dog House, another test of ours, uses sticky 2x and 3x wilds on reels 2 to 4 too, but on 5x3 reels with 20 lines and a round that cannot be retriggered.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play the Cleocatra demo for free?+
Yes. This page runs Pragmatic Play's official Cleocatra demo with play money and no account needed. It opened at a $2.00 bet with the buy at $200; five presses of the minus button brought the bet to $1.00 and the buy to $100. The buy works in the demo, all 40 lines are always in play, and there is no ante or bet mode to set.
How does the Cleocatra respin feature work?+
In the base game a full stack of one cat on reel 1, all four positions, can start respins. Every cat of that type and every wild then stays, and the other positions respin until at least one win with that cat forms. Some descriptions say a full stack always starts it; the game's rules say it can. It never started in our 100 spins.
How do the wild multipliers work in Cleocatra?+
Each wild lands on reels 2 to 5 with a random x2 or x3, and when several share one winning line their multipliers are added, not multiplied. On our spin 99 two x2 wilds on line 35 made x4, turning a $0.75 line of ankhs into $3.00. In free spins every wild stays to the end with its multiplier; our bought round finished with six.
Is Cleocatra like The Dog House?+
In its free spins, yes: both games make every wild that lands on reels 2 to 4 sticky with a 2x or 3x that adds on shared lines. Cleocatra also lets wilds land on reel 5, plays 40 lines on 5x4 reels instead of 20 on 5x3, adds the cat-stack respin, sells a 100x buy and gives 2 extra spins per cat stack, where The Dog House cannot retrigger.
What are the RTP, volatility and max win of Cleocatra?+
The rules give 96.20% for normal play and the same for the buy, the figure on Pragmatic Play's game page too; review sites also list 95.50% and 94.50% versions that some casinos run. The rules page and intro screen show a MEDIUM VOLATILITY badge. Wins are capped at 5,000x the bet, $5,000 at $1. Our best result was the $37.90 bought round.
