Super Serge

Super Serge is a Pragmatic Play slot about a cheerful electrician in a hard hat, working on a 6x4 circuit-board grid under three glass Tesla tubes. It launched on 6 August 2026 with 4,096 ways to win, a 96.50% top RTP and a 10,000x cap. Collect magnets on the outer reels cash in money chips, wilds can switch on modifiers, and the bonus lets you choose between Cash Collect Spins and free spins. We played 100 spins of the Super Serge demo at $1 and bought all three bonus options.

What is the Super Serge slot about?

Serge stands on top of the reels with his toolbox, and the setting is a city at night drawn like a circuit board. The three tubes above the grid are labelled Expand, Cash and Collect, and the Grand, Major and Minor jackpots sit on the right, shown in cash at your bet. Free spins switch the backdrop to a purple city at dusk, and win screens feature a purple robot cat with lightning paws.

Wins pay left to right on 4,096 ways. Serge is the top symbol, followed by a toolbox, a battery, a torch and a screwdriver, with 9 to A as the low pays. Six premium symbols pay 2x to 5x the bet, and six royals 1x to 1.5x. The wild substitutes for everything except money, collect and bonus symbols. Pragmatic Play quotes a 36.36% hit rate, and 37 of our 100 spins paid something, 22 of them less than the $1 stake.

Super Serge bonus features

Money chips and collect magnets

Gold money chips land on the four middle reels. At a $1 bet they are worth $0.50 to $12, or one of the three jackpots: Minor 15x, Major 50x and Grand 2,500x the bet. Chips pay nothing on their own. They only pay when a collect magnet lands on reel 1 or reel 6 in the same spin, and then the magnet collects every chip on screen. Two magnets in one spin collect everything twice.

Wild modifiers

Every wild that lands is collected into one of the Tesla tubes, which visibly fill and spark, and at random this can switch on that tube's modifier for the current spin. Expand grows the grid to 6x6. Cash fills at least one of the middle reels with money chips. Collect improves the chance of a collect magnet.

Bonus choice

Three, four, five or six bonus symbols start the bonus, and you choose how to play it:

• Cash Collect Spins: 2, 3, 5 or 10 spins where only money chips and magnets land, with one to three of the modifiers switched on for the whole round
• Free Spins: 8, 12, 20 or 40 spins where wilds carry x2, x3 or x5 multipliers that add together in a win; two to six bonus symbols add 5 to 40 more spins

Our Super Serge demo test

The base game ticked over without ever taking off. Our 100 spins returned $49.30, the longest run without a win was only seven spins, and the best result was $10. Money chips landed on 66 spins, but a magnet showed up on just four of them, paying $10, $0.50, $1.50 and $6. The $10 came on spin 14, when two magnets collected the same $5 chip and paid it twice. The bonus never triggered: two bonus symbols landed twice, three never did.

The buys were where the game came alive. We took Cash Collect Spins on the $75 buy, and the Collect modifier switched on for the round. All three spins paid, $4, $22 and $18, for $44. On the $125 buy we took 20 free spins instead. Wilds showed x2, x3 and x5, and two x2 wilds in one win made x4, but the wins underneath were small, and the best single spin paid $12 with no multiplier at all. The round paid $36.70, less than the three Cash Collect Spins at a lower price.

The $250 buy was the best result of the test. We took 10 Cash Collect Spins, the Expand modifier grew the grid to 6x6 for the whole round, and every spin collected something, from $8 to $42. The $42 came on spin nine, when both magnets collected a Minor jackpot plus $6 in chips. The round paid $245.50, just short of its price. Across the three buys we spent $450 and got $326.20 back.

Two practical notes. The Buy Bonus buttons charge straight away, with no separate confirm step, so check your bet first. The jackpot panel scales with the bet: at the demo's opening $2 bet the Grand reads $5,000, and at $1 it reads $2,500. Step the bet down from $2 if you want to follow our $1 test.

Is Super Serge worth trying?

It is if you like money-collect slots and want a real choice in the bonus. The magnets make every chip worth watching, the wild modifiers add a bit of variety, and in our test the choice mattered: both Cash Collect rounds paid on every spin, while 20 free spins paid less than three Cash Collect Spins. The RTP stays between 96.48% and 96.50% across the base game and the buys, and the buys start at 75x.

The base game is the weak spot. Chips land constantly, but magnets rarely, so most spins end with money on the reels and nothing collected. On volatility, the game's own intro screen, its rules and Pragmatic Play's game sheet all say high, although some review sites list it as medium.
