Our verdict
Vikings Creed rests on one idea and does it well: a Wild that pays double and walks one reel left with a re-spin at every step, joined at random by Wild Berserk and stretched to a full reel in free spins. The round is only six spins and cannot grow, there is nothing to buy, and plain line wins are small, so most sessions wait on the Wilds.
Who it suits
Play this if…
- You like a Wild that keeps working: each one earns re-spins as it walks left and doubles every win it joins
- You want free spins with one clear hook: Wilds fill whole reels and walk across all 20 lines
- You like a simple board: 20 fixed lines, a single 96.03% RTP and no buy menu to weigh up
Skip this if…
- You want to buy the bonus or raise its chance: there is no Fast Track or Xtra-Bet
- You want long free spins rounds that can grow: six spins, and no ravens land to add more
- You are chasing a top prize beyond 5,000x the bet: a round ends at that cap

Vikings Creed: Full Review
Vikings Creed is a Slotmill slot from October 2020: a 5x3 Norse board with 20 fixed lines below fjord cliffs. Its Viking warrior is a Walking Wild that doubles its wins and earns a re-spin with every step to the left, and in the six free spins he fills the whole reel. Slotmill's game page rates it High; the RTP is 96.03% and wins stop at 5,000x. Nothing is for sale, so we tested the Vikings Creed slot the plain way: 100 spins at $1.

What is the Vikings Creed slot about?
A slate-grey frame holds the reels in front of green cliffs, waterfalls and open water, with the logo cut into a stone plaque on top. Free spins move the scene to a stormy night with falling snow, and the plaque turns into a counter of the spins left.
Wins pay left to right along 20 fixed lines, from three of a kind, and all 20 play on every spin. Each line pays only its best win, though one symbol can count toward several lines.
A crowned king heads the line symbols at $100 for five at a $1 bet, followed by a shieldmaiden at $50, a longship and a hammer at $12.50 and a round shield at $6.25. Stone-carved card ranks, A down to 10, pay $2 to $5 for five and 25 or 30 cents for three.
The red raven is the Scatter, worth $3, $10 or $100 for three, four or five. The bearded Viking warrior is the Wild: he replaces every symbol except the raven, and any win he takes part in pays double.
Before our first spin at $1, from the $5,000 demo balance: no Fast Track button, only Burst Mode beside the spin button. FluxPlays demo test, 16 October 2026.
Vikings Creed bonus features
Walking Wilds and re-spins
Whenever a Wild lands, the game hands out a re-spin, on which the Wild steps one reel to the left. Re-spins carry on while a Wild is anywhere on the reels, so one paid spin can become a string of them, and any win the Wild joins pays 2x. Fresh Wilds that land during the walk keep it going.
Slotmill's own summary says the re-spins stop once the last Wild reaches the leftmost reel. The rules go one step further: the walk ends on the first re-spin that shows no Wild at all, which is what our settled boards after spins 46 and 63 show. Walking Wilds work the same way in the base game and in free spins.
Wild Berserk
Wild Berserk strikes at random in the base game and puts up to 5 Walking Wilds on the reels at once, each starting its own walk to the left. Slotmill's game page says three to five; the rules and the intro screen say up to 5. Free spins cannot be triggered while Wild Berserk is running.
Free Spins with Expanding Walking Wilds
Three or more ravens award 6 free spins at the bet that triggered them. No ravens appear in the round, so the six cannot be extended by landing more.
Base spin 5 of 100 at $1: three ravens award 6 free spins, and WIN already shows their $3 Scatter pay. FluxPlays demo test, 16 October 2026.
Inside the round every Wild expands to fill its reel, which puts it on all 20 lines. When one lands, the free spin count pauses while the Wild walks left with re-spins, and the count resumes only after the last Wild has reached reel 1 and a re-spin shows none. A six-spin round can therefore hold many more turns of the reels than six.
A re-spin inside our free spins from base spin 5: an expanded Wild fills reel 1, with $17.30 won so far. FluxPlays demo test, 16 October 2026.
No bonus buy
Vikings Creed sells no Fast Track, Xtra-Bet or paid mode. Slotmill's product sheet repeats a general line about Fast Track, but the game screen, the rules and the game server's buy list all come up empty. The one extra is Burst Mode, a fast autoplay that shows only round totals, which we left off. Bets run from $0.20 to $50 over 15 levels.

Played on Slotmill's official demo in US dollars, from its $5,000 demo balance (100 times the $50 top bet), with every spin matched to the game server's log. Vikings Creed has no Fast Track, bonus buy, Xtra-Bet or paid mode, so the test is 100 base spins. Free spins triggered once, on spin 5: 6 spins and $18.30 with the Scatter pay, a single result; the other 99 spins returned $62.25. Three Walking Wild runs of note paid $33.00 (spin 63, the biggest win), $10.30 (spin 46) and $7.25 (spin 57), and without spins 5 and 63 the rest returned $29.25. Totals from the spin log: $100.00 staked, $80.55 returned, in one session from $5,000.00 to $4,980.55. A sample of 100 spins says nothing reliable about the RTP or the volatility.
We played Slotmill's official demo in US dollars. It opened at $5,000.00, 100 times the $50 top bet, with the bet already on $1. The game server's log accounts for every spin without a break, and the balances in our captures match it to the cent. The 100 spins returned $80.55 from 29 wins and finished on $4,980.55.
Most hits were small: 22 of the 29 paid under $1, $6.95 between them, and 93 of the 100 spins returned less than the stake. The longest dry run lasted 14 spins, from 31 to 44, and the balance touched its low of $4,975.50 on the spin after.
The free spins came early, from three ravens on spin 5, and the award panel's WIN already read 3, the Scatter pay. One of our captures from the round shows an expanded Wild covering reel 1 under RESPIN, with $17.30 won. The round closed at $18.30, a single result, which took the balance to $5,013.30, its high point.
The end of the free spins from base spin 5 at $1: $18.30 for the whole round, the Scatter pay included. FluxPlays demo test, 16 October 2026.
Our test recorded three Walking Wild runs of note, and they carried the session. The game server's log marks their re-spins with a reel set of their own: $10.30 on spin 46 and $7.25 on spin 57 came from five re-spin steps each, and $33.00 on spin 63 from seven, 33x the bet and our biggest win.
Base spin 46 of 100 at $1, settled once its Walking Wild re-spins ran out: $10.30. FluxPlays demo test, 16 October 2026.
Spin 63 also put the session ahead for a while, at $5,010.60, before the last 37 spins returned only $6.95 from 11 small wins. The log does not flag Wild Berserk, so we cannot say whether any of these runs began with it.
Base spin 63 of 100 at $1, settled after its Walking Wild re-spins: $33.00, our biggest win. FluxPlays demo test, 16 October 2026.
The free spins and those three runs made most of the money. Without the free spins, the other 99 spins returned $62.25; take out spin 63 as well and it falls to $29.25. Without the three Walking Wild runs too, the remaining 96 spins made $11.70 from 25 wins, none above $2.50.
By the server log we staked $100.00 and got $80.55 back, from $5,000.00 to $4,980.55, and the intro and rules showed 96.03%. We never saw four or five ravens, five kings or a Wild Berserk we could identify, and a sample of 100 spins says nothing reliable about the RTP or the volatility.
Is Vikings Creed worth trying?
The Walking Wild is the whole game, and it is a good one. Every Wild buys at least one more look at the reels, doubles what it touches and keeps walking while new Wilds join, so a dead spin can turn into a run of paying re-spins. In our test, three runs out-paid every other spin except the one that triggered free spins.
The free spins are short but built around one idea: six spins that cannot be extended, with every Wild filling its reel and walking across all 20 lines with the 2x on each win. The count waits while a Wild walks, so a Wild landing on reel 5 plays several re-spins before the next free spin is used.
What holds it back is the rest of the board. With no buy and no Xtra-Bet, three ravens are the only road to free spins, the card ranks return $2 to $5 for five at a $1 bet, and 5,000x is as high as a win can go. On volatility the game itself is silent; the High comes from Slotmill's game page.
Ragnarok, Slotmill's Norse slot from 2024, shares the theme and little else, by both games' rules. It runs a 5x5 avalanche cluster grid with a multiplier that doubles on every win, 8 to 12 free spins, a 10,000x cap and five Fast Track options. Both lean on a Wild to keep a round alive, but Ragnarok drops one into a gap after each win, where this one walks.
Outlaws, released two months later, is built on the same base: by both games' rules, 5x3 with 20 fixed lines, 96.03%, a 5,000x cap and no buy. Its Wild lands only on reels 2 to 4 and sticks through its 8 to 12 free spins while a crosshair stacks multipliers on it, and Slotmill rates Outlaws Medium-High against this game's High.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play the Vikings Creed demo for free?+
Yes. This page runs Slotmill's own Vikings Creed demo on play money, and you need no account. Ours opened at $5,000.00, 100 times the $50 top bet, with the bet set to $1. You will find no Fast Track button on the screen, so the demo shows the whole game: Walking Wilds, Wild Berserk and the free spins all come from ordinary spins.
Does Vikings Creed have a bonus buy?+
No. There is no Fast Track menu, no Xtra-Bet and no paid mode, either on the screen or in the rules, and the game server lists no buy options. Slotmill's product sheet repeats a general line about Fast Track that does not apply here. Three ravens are the only way into the six free spins; in our 100 spins they landed once, on spin 5.
How do Walking Wilds work in the Vikings Creed slot machine?+
Each Wild that lands earns a re-spin, moves one reel to the left on it, and keeps earning re-spins while any Wild is still on the reels; every win it joins pays 2x. Wild Berserk, a random base-game feature, can add up to 5 at once, where Slotmill's page says three to five. Our test recorded three runs of note, the best paying $33.00 on spin 63.
How many free spins does Vikings Creed give?+
Six, for three or more raven Scatters, played at the bet that triggered them. No ravens land in the round, so it cannot be extended, but every Wild expands to fill its reel and the count waits while it walks left with re-spins, resuming once a re-spin shows no Wild. Our one round, from spin 5, paid $18.30 including the $3 Scatter pay.
What are the RTP and max win of Vikings Creed?+
The intro screen and the rules give 96.03%, the same as Slotmill's game page, and no other version is listed; a 96.02% figure quoted elsewhere does not match the game. Wins are capped at 5,000x the bet: a round that reaches the cap ends there and pays out, which at the $50 top bet is $250,000.
