The Demonic Dolls slot is Hacksaw Gaming's toy-box horror from 6 October 2026, with stitched dolls and a 5x5 cluster grid. Its wild is the Wild Rattle, a goggle-eyed snake that can carry a multiplier of up to 100x, and two Wild Rattles in one win start a respin chain where they merge into 2x2 and then 3x3 Colossal Wild Rattles. Three free spins rounds add more of them. We tested the Demonic Dolls demo for 100 base spins, both modes and both buys.

What is the Demonic Dolls slot about?

The grid stands in a rough wooden frame in a dusty attic hung with fairy lights, paper stars and a big pair of scissors. A horned sheep doll with stitched eyes and an axe on its head stands on the left, and a teddy bear with button eyes and a honey jar on the right. Bad Omens turns the room red, and the bear's eyes catch fire.

Wins pay for clusters of five or more matching symbols touching anywhere on the grid. At a $1 bet, the card letters 10 to A pay $0.10 for five and $10 for 16 or more. The button and the ball of yarn with a needle pay $0.30 to $50, the axe and the jar with a bone $0.50 to $100, and the red bow, the top symbol, $1 to $500.

All three review sites we checked quote a 39.8% hit rate; our base game won on 42 of 100 spins.

Wild Rattles

The Wild Rattle substitutes for every paying symbol and can carry an adding multiplier of 2x to 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x or 100x. When several Wild Rattles sit in the same cluster, their multipliers are added together before they apply.

Colossal Wild Rattle respins

Two Wild Rattles of the same size in one win start a respin sequence. All Wild Rattles jump to new places, and two of them merge into a 2x2 Colossal Wild Rattle carrying the sum of their multipliers. New Wild Rattles that land stay and move on every respin, wins pay on each one.

Two 2x2 Colossals in the same win merge again into a 3x3. A spin and its respins can hold at most seven Wild Rattles in total.

Playtime Is Over

The Hidden Epic Bonus comes from five scatters landing together in the base game. Its 10 free spins guarantee two Wild Rattles per spin, each worth at least 2x. You cannot buy it, and it did not turn up in our session. FS symbols never land during respins or bonuses, so none of the rounds retrigger.

Our Demonic Dolls demo test

The session ran on Hacksaw Gaming's official demo on 26 October, in US dollars, from the $5,000 starting balance, and every round was matched to the game server's log. It finished at $4,584.40, the same as the screen, after $955.00 staked and $539.40 returned.

The 100 base spins at $1 returned $131.30 from 42 wins, more than their cost, thanks to two natural All Dolled Up rounds. Spin 50 triggered the first, which paid $21.70. Spin 85 triggered the second, which paid $74.00, $31.50 of it on the last free spin from a 7x Colossal Wild Rattle.

Without those two rounds, the base game returned $35.60, and 28 of the 42 wins paid under $1. Respin chains came twice in the base game; the better one paid $10.50 on spin 78, the best plain spin. The longest dry run lasted 6 spins.

BonusHunt at $3 a spin paid $0.30 and $0.50 and found no bonus. Dead Cute at $50 a spin paid every time, from $7.00 to $55.20, but only two spins beat the price, and it returned $274.90 from $500.00.

The $75 All Dolled Up buy was a flop: ten spins and $8.70, the best of them $5.00. The $250 Bad Omens buy opened with $26.40, then on free spin 6 a red-bow cluster with Wild Rattles of 6x, 5x and 2x and a respin chain paid $90.60. The round finished at $123.70.

The rules screen showed 96.26%. We never saw a natural Bad Omens or Playtime Is Over, and 100 spins cannot measure the RTP or the volatility.

Is Demonic Dolls worth trying?

Our view: the Wild Rattle respins are the best idea here. Two wilds meeting in a win turn into a bigger one with both multipliers added, every new rattle that lands stays for the chain, and a second merge can make a 3x3. It is a clear, satisfying build-up that can start on any base spin.

The bonuses are less distinct. All three are the same 10 free spins with more Wild Rattles, a guaranteed rattle, or two, and none can retrigger. That makes them tidy but short, and luck decides most of it: our natural All Dolled Up rounds paid $21.70 and $74.00, the bought one $8.70.

Bad Omens is the round we would rather buy, since a guaranteed Wild Rattle of at least 2x every spin gives the respins something to work with. Dead Cute FeatureSpins does that job in the base game at 50x a spin, but ours paid more than its price only twice.

Hacksaw rates the volatility 3 out of 5. Our demo ran the 96.26% version, the top of four; Hacksaw also lists 94.19%, 92.24% and 86.21%.

Le Cowboy is another Hacksaw cluster game where the Wild is the engine, by both games' rules: a Wild inside a winning cluster turns into a Revolver Cylinder that shoots coins. RIP City adds wild multipliers together within a win as Demonic Dolls does, but on a 19-line grid where the wild stretches down its reel.
