Jade Legends builds a clear, satisfying loop: wins mark the grid, multipliers grow on repeat hits, and a dragon cashes every mark as a coin. It offers a lot of ways in, all at 96.50%, but the base game leans hard on landing a dragon in the same spin as a win, and in our test the buy results had little to do with their prices.

  • You like coin collect features and watching a board fill up between collects
  • You want plenty of ways in: four buys, an ante bet and two Super Spin modes

Jade Legends: Full Review

Jade Legends is a Pragmatic Play slot with a white-bearded sage and his jade dragon standing beside a 7x7 grid of gems, lanterns, fans, scrolls and crowns. It launched on 3 August 2026 as a medium-volatility cluster game with tumbles, a 96.50% top RTP and a 20,000x cap. The idea is simple to state: wins mark the grid, and a dragon turns every marked spot into a coin. We played 100 spins of the Jade Legends demo at $1, bought all four free spins options and tried both Super Spin modes.

What is the Jade Legends slot about?

The setting is a golden temple garden with pagodas and cherry blossom, and the grid sits in a gold-and-jade frame with a dragon on each top corner. Free spins move to a waterfall and mountain scene, and Super Free Spins to a treasure room with piles of gold and dragon pillars.

Symbols pay in clusters of five or more, joined horizontally or vertically, and every win tumbles: the winning symbols explode and new ones drop in. At a $1 bet the three lowest gems pay $0.05 for five up to $10 for 15 or more, and the crown pays $1 for five up to $150. The wild stands in for everything except the Bonus symbol and the two dragons. Pragmatic Play quotes a 23.58% hit rate, and 26 of our 100 spins paid something.

Jade Legends bonus features

Marked spots and multipliers

Every winning symbol that explodes leaves a glowing mark on its spot. A second win on a marked spot gives it a x2 multiplier, and each win after that adds one more, up to x10,000. In the base game the marks only last until the tumbles stop. That is the detail that shapes the whole game: a dragon pays only when it lands in the same spin as a win.

Golden and Jade Dragons

When a Golden Dragon is on the grid as the tumbles end, every marked spot gets a coin, each coin is multiplied by its spot's multiplier, and the lot is paid. Coins come in four tiers: bronze 0.5x to 2.5x, silver 4x to 15x, gold 25x to 100x and jade 125x to 500x the bet. Up to three Pot symbols can also land and take the total value of the coins on screen.

The Jade Dragon does the same collect but leaves the marks in place, which only matters in free spins, where marks and multipliers carry over from spin to spin. A Golden Dragon wipes them after it collects. A Jade Dragon lets them keep building.

Free spins

Four, five, six or seven Bonus symbols award one of four rounds: Free Spins (8 spins), Enhanced Free Spins (10), Super Free Spins (12) or Ultra Free Spins (14). Enhanced and above use Jade Dragons only. In Super, multipliers double with each win on a spot instead of adding one, and Ultra guarantees a Jade Dragon on every spin. Three or more Bonus symbols during the round move it up one tier and add four spins (in Ultra, they just add four spins).

Special bets and Super Spins

The Special Bets panel holds three options, all listed at 96.50% RTP. The Ante Bet costs 3x the bet and makes free spins eight times more likely. Super Spin 1 costs 20x and puts a Golden Dragon on every spin, with multipliers doubling, but no free spins. Super Spin 2 costs 250x and starts every one of the 49 spots marked with a random multiplier from x2 to x1,024, also with no free spins. At the top base bet of $240 that is a $60,000 spin, which is the maximum the rules list.

Bonus buys

The Buy Feature panel offers four rounds: Free Spins for 100x, Random Free Spins for 200x, Enhanced Free Spins for 250x and Super Free Spins for 750x, all at 96.50% RTP. Ultra cannot be bought directly. The Random buy picks a tier, then offers a wheel that can move you up one tier at a time toward Ultra, at the risk of losing the round entirely. Our guide to bonus buy slots explains what that price covers.

Played on the official demo with play money. We also played 10 spins each of Super Spin 1 ($200 in, $99.15 back) and Super Spin 2 ($2,500 in, $1,029.65 back). 100 spins is a small sample: it shows how a session can feel, not the game's long-run RTP or volatility.

The base game was slow. Only 3 of the first 30 spins paid, including a 14-spin run with no win at all, and free spins never came close: we never saw more than two Bonus symbols against the four needed. Two Golden Dragon collects carried the session. On spin 33 the tumbles paid $1.15 and marked 16 spots, then the dragon filled them with coins worth $0.50 to $10 for a $24.65 total. Spin 69 paid $15.85 the same way. Those two spins made $40.50 of the $67.75 we got back. On spin 94 a Golden Dragon landed on a spin with no win, so there was nothing to collect. The highest base-game multiplier we saw was x3.

The buys followed one pattern: quiet first spins, then everything on the collects. The $100 Free Spins paid $0.20 over six spins before a Golden Dragon collected 15 coins on spin seven, ending at $16.30. The $250 Enhanced Free Spins had one Jade Dragon collect for $18.50 on spin five. Its marks then spread to 36 of the 49 spots, but no second dragon came to cash them, and it finished on $22.25.

The $750 Super Free Spins paid nothing for four spins, then had three Jade Dragon collects: $11.50, then $134.25 with a $100 gold coin, then $78. With the marks kept between collects, multipliers reached x8, and the round paid $231.70.

Jade Legends Super Free Spins: a Jade Dragon collect fills the marked spots with coins, including a $100 gold coin, on the spin that paid $134.25Super Free Spins: the $100 gold coin in a $134.25 collect. FluxPlays demo test, 15 October 2026.

The surprise was the $200 Random Free Spins. It landed on the lowest tier, and the wheel offered a 40% chance to move up. We kept the regular round rather than gamble it, and it paid $234.30 from three collects of $70.75, $52.25 and $106.25. That is slightly more than the $750 Super round. Across all four buys we spent $1,300 and got $504.55 back.

The Super Spins showed the game's extremes. Super Spin 1 at $20 a spin guarantees a Golden Dragon, but the dragon still needs a win to have marked spots: on eight of our ten spins there was none, so it paid nothing. The other two paid $26.95 and $72.20, and the ten cost $200 for $99.15 back. Super Spin 2 at $250 a spin starts the grid fully marked, mostly at x2 with a few higher spots up to x64 in our session. Seven of our ten spins returned $4.70 between them. On the other three a Golden Dragon turned all 49 spots into coins, paying $159, $211 and $654.95. The ten spins cost $2,500 and returned $1,029.65.

Jade Legends Super Spin 2 at a $250 bet: a Golden Dragon has turned all 49 spots into coins, including a $200 gold coin, on the spin that paid $654.95Super Spin 2: every spot becomes a coin when the dragon lands. FluxPlays demo test, 15 October 2026.

A few practical notes. Win screens start at around $15 on a $1 bet and play until clicked. Picking a Super Spin changes the bet readout to the full price, $20 or $250, and labels the panel as active, so it is hard to miss. After any buy, a Rebuy button for the same option appears under Buy Feature.

Is Jade Legends worth trying?

It is if you like collector games with something to watch build. The marks make every win useful, the Jade Dragon rounds visibly fill the board, and the game is unusually generous with choice: four buys, an ante bet and two Super Spin modes, all at the same 96.50% RTP in the version we played. The 20,000x cap and the 500x jade coins give it a high ceiling.

The cost is a base game that leans hard on the dragons. Our 100 spins returned 67.75%, with two collects doing most of the work, and a dragon on a losing spin pays nothing. The buys did not follow their prices either: our $200 round beat our $750 one, and the $250 round filled the board without a dragon to cash it. The game itself, Pragmatic Play and the review sites we checked all call it medium volatility, but the buys and Super Spins swing much harder than the base game. If you like coin features on a big grid, compare it with Cosmic Clusters!, another cluster game we have tested.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I play the Jade Legends demo for free?+

Yes. The demo at the top of this page is Pragmatic Play's official play-money version of Jade Legends, so no sign-up or deposit is needed. It opens at a $2 bet, and all four buys work in it, including the Random Free Spins gamble wheel. Picking a Super Spin shows its full price, $20 or $250 at a $1 bet. We used it for our 100-spin test.

What is the RTP of Jade Legends?+

96.50% in its standard version, with 95.50% and 94.50% versions that some casinos run instead. In the version we played, the rules list 96.50% for the base game, the ante bet, both Super Spins and all four bonus buys.

What is the difference between the Golden and Jade Dragons?+

Both turn every marked spot into a coin and pay the total. A Golden Dragon then clears the marks, while a Jade Dragon leaves them in place, so in free spins the marks and multipliers keep building toward the next collect. Enhanced, Super and Ultra Free Spins use Jade Dragons only.

What are Super Spin 1 and Super Spin 2 in Jade Legends?+

Two special bet modes with no free spins. Super Spin 1 costs 20x the bet and puts a Golden Dragon on every spin. Super Spin 2 costs 250x and starts all 49 spots marked with random multipliers from x2 to x1,024. In our test a Super Spin 2 spin paid $654.95 at $250.

How many free spins can you win in Jade Legends?+

Four, five, six or seven Bonus symbols award 8, 10, 12 or 14 spins, in the Free, Enhanced, Super or Ultra round. Three or more Bonus symbols during the round move it up a tier and add four spins.
