Ribs' Golden Crypt

Ribs' Golden Crypt is Slotmill's October 2026 release, a 6x6 avalanche cluster slot in a graveyard where Ribs, a crowned skeleton in golden armour, holds the Win Multiplier. Giant Symbols add 2x to 10x to it, Multiplier Meteors of up to x100 multiply it, and in free spins it never resets. Slotmill lists a 96.01% RTP, Very High volatility and a 10,000x cap. We played the Ribs' Golden Crypt slot demo for 100 spins at $1, then tried every Fast Track option and the Xtra-Bet.

What is the Ribs' Golden Crypt slot?

The grid stands in a purple dusk between a golden mausoleum guarded by gargoyles and a graveyard of leaning headstones. Ribs waits on the right, ready to catch the multipliers as they fly in. The bonus rounds move inside the crypt, among piles of gold under banners of crowned skulls.

Wins need clusters of five or more matching symbols touching across or down. Winning symbols explode, new ones drop in, and the avalanche runs until no new cluster forms. Any spin with a cluster win also drops a Wild on a random empty position, and the Wild stands in for everything except the Bonus key.

The paytable shows its pays at the current bet, from clusters of 5 up to 20 or more. At $1 the crowned skull pays 50 cents for five and $50 for 20 or more, and a cluster of Wilds pays the same top amount.

The red bat runs from 25 cents to $30, the pumpkin to $25, the green ghost to $22.50 and the blue skull ghost to $20. The heart, star, moon and gem pay 10 cents for five and $12.50 for 20 or more.

Bets run from $0.20 to $100 over 22 levels. The intro and rules show a 96.01% RTP, and Slotmill also lists a 94.03% version for casinos. Burst Mode is a faster Autoplay that shows only round totals; we did not use it.

The Win Multiplier, Giant Symbols and Meteors

Everything here feeds one number. Giant Symbols land with a multiplier from 2 to 10, and when one is part of a win its value is added to the Win Multiplier.

Multiplier Meteors carry x2, x3, x5, x7, x10, x20 or x100. A Meteor that lands during a winning round stays on the grid, and when no more wins form, all active Meteor values are added together and multiply the Win Multiplier.

In the base game the multiplier starts again at every new round, so a Meteor only matters on a spin that is already winning. Our two best base spins showed both paths: a giant ghost with a 4 on spin 9, and Meteors that turned a $1.50 round into $36.00 on spin 77.

Free Spins

Three, four or five Bonus keys award 8, 10 or 12 free spins. The rule that matters is short: during Free Spins the multiplier does not reset between spins. Every Giant Symbol and Meteor that pays keeps building the number Ribs holds, so a slow start can still end big.

Super Mode Free Spins

When free spins trigger, the game may upgrade them to Super Mode at random. In Super Mode a Giant Symbol is guaranteed to drop at the start of every free spin, which gives the carried multiplier a steady supply of 2x to 10x steps.

Fast Track and Xtra-Bet

Fast Track, Slotmill's name for bonus buys, sells four options from the base game, priced from the bet and each with its own RTP:

• Giant Symbol, 30x: every spin is guaranteed a Giant Symbol with a random multiplier (96.10%)
• Free Spins, 100x: guarantees the Free Spins Bonus (96.26%)
• Gamble feature, 250x: a 50% chance of Super Mode Free Spins and a 50% chance of a spin that pays nothing (96.45%)
• Super Mode Free Spins, 500x: guarantees Super Mode (96.46%)

A chosen option charges its price on every spin and stays on until you click its icon. Xtra-Bet is a separate switch: it raises the stake by half, makes the Free Spins Bonus 2.1 times more likely and pays on the base bet, at a 96.00% RTP. It cannot be combined with Fast Track.

Our Ribs' Golden Crypt demo test

Slotmill's demo runs in US dollars from a $10,000.00 balance, and every one of our 123 rounds matched the game server's log. The 100 base spins at $1 returned $82.55 from 31 winning spins. Twenty of those wins paid under $1, and there were two dry runs of 11 spins, 31 to 41 and 78 to 88. No free spins triggered.

Spins 9 and 77 made the base game: $20.00 and $36.00. The other 98 spins returned $26.55.

Then we went through Fast Track. Giant Symbol is not a bonus, so we played it as a paid mode for 10 spins at $30: $300 in, $52.55 back. Every spin had its giant, but five paid nothing and the best paid $28.00.

The $100 Free Spins buy gave 8 spins and returned $46.10. The $500 Super Mode buy gave 8 spins with a Giant Symbol on each and returned $51.60, about a tenth of its price.

The Gamble buy is a coin flip for 250x, and we bought it once. It came up on the winning side: the grid turned to skulls, two Bonus keys landed and the game awarded 8 Super Mode free spins.

Inside that round the multiplier kept climbing between spins and reached x128 on the seventh free spin. The round closed at $525.70, 525.7x the bet and 2.1x the price, the best result of the session and a single one. Half the time the same $250 buys a spin that pays nothing.

Last came 10 Xtra-Bet spins at $1.50. The first landed three Bonus keys and paid $17.65 over 8 free spins; one more paid 60 cents, and the other eight nothing: $15.00 in, $18.25 back.

Over all 123 rounds we staked $1,265.00 and got $776.75 back, ending on $9,511.75. Only the coin flip paid more than it cost. We never saw a natural Super Mode, and a session this size cannot measure the RTP or the volatility.

Is Ribs' Golden Crypt worth trying?

In our view the carried multiplier is the whole game, and it is a good one. In the base game a Meteor needs a winning spin to matter and the number resets every round, but in free spins every Giant Symbol and Meteor adds to a figure that only grows. Our x128 round shows what that does to small clusters.

The base game is the weak side. Most clusters pay cents, the multiplier starts from scratch each spin, and Bonus keys are scarce: none came in 100 spins at $1, while Xtra-Bet found them on its first spin. If you play the base game for the bonus, Xtra-Bet's 2.1 times better odds for half a bet more look like the better deal.

The Fast Track menu is wide. The 30x Giant Symbol is a cheap way to see the multiplier at work but guarantees no bonus. The 500x Super Mode buy only guarantees the Giant Symbols, not the climb, and ours paid a tenth of its price. The 250x Gamble is a straight coin flip for the same Super Mode, and its RTP is the second highest on the menu.

Emberfall, which we tested earlier, sells the same 250x Gamble for its Super Free Spins and the same Xtra-Bet idea on a 6x6 grid, but doubles its multiplier on every avalanche win instead of collecting Meteors. Dead Man's Drop is the closest cluster cousin: 6x6 avalanche cluster pays with Wilds after wins, but its multipliers live on the Wilds themselves.
