Our verdict
Tower Run Treasure Steps links its base game to the bonus through the Win-O-Meter: three wins in a spin bring wilds, six a multiplier up to x5, and nine the Treasure Room, a hold-and-spin round with chests worth up to 5,000x. Bob's climb adds small instant prizes. The meter resets every spin, so the bonus is hard to reach, and there is no buy.

What is the Tower Run Treasure Steps slot?
The game stacks three panels in a stone tower under a dark, misty forest. At the top, Bob walks a torch-lit corridor towards the next monster; below him sits the Win-O-Meter with its WILD, MULTIPLIER and TREASURE sections; and under the logo is the 5x5 grid.
The monsters are a skull, a zombie woman with roses in her hair, and goblins, and the card ranks run from 10 to A.
Symbols pay anywhere on the grid. Card ranks need 7 or more of a kind and monsters 6 or more. A win is removed, new symbols drop in, and the cascades continue until no new win forms. Wilds can appear on the grid, substitute for paying symbols during the cascades, and vanish at the start of the next spin.
There is no bonus buy and no gamble. Bets run from $0.10 to $50.
The main game at $1 after spin 100 of 100: Bob 12 of 18 steps from the next monster, the Win-O-Meter, and a wild on the grid. FluxPlays demo test, 26 October 2026.
Tower Run Treasure Steps bonus features
Bob's Ascent
On every spin Bob walks 1 to 6 steps along the path, and each monster stands 18 steps from the last. When he reaches one, an encounter pays an instant prize of x0.2, x0.5, x1, x2, x3, x4, x5 or x10 the base bet, before the grid is evaluated.
His progress is saved for each bet level separately, so changing the bet loads a different climb and coming back restores the old one.
The Win-O-Meter of Destiny
Each win in a spin, cascades included, adds one charge to the meter, and it resets at the start of every spin.
At 3 charges, Wild Rift drops 1 to 4 wilds onto empty positions. At 6, the Dimensional Multiplier puts a global multiplier of x2, x3, x4 or x5 on all wins for the rest of the spin and drops 1 to 4 wilds, or 2 to 8 if Wild Rift was skipped. At 9, the Treasure Room starts once the grid is still.
The game rules on Bob's Ascent, the Win-O-Meter of Destiny with Wild Rift, Dimensional Multiplier and Treasure Room, and the Mimic chests. FluxPlays demo test, 26 October 2026.
The Treasure Room
The Treasure Room is a 5x5 hold-and-spin round with 3 lives. Only coins, Mimic chests and keys land. Coins carry a cash prize of x1 to x5 the base bet and pay as soon as they land.
Mimic chests arrive closed with a countdown of 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 spins; at zero they open for x10, x20, x50, x100, x500, x1,000 or x5,000 the base bet. A key opens a closed Mimic at once.
Coins and Mimics stick where they land. Landing a coin, a Mimic or a key, or opening a Mimic, refills the lives, and the round ends when the lives run out or the grid is full. The paytable's own words: "Win up to 30000x your bet!"
The intro page on the Treasure Room: coins of x1 to x5, a x1000 chest, lives shown as hearts, and win up to 30000x your bet. FluxPlays demo test, 26 October 2026.
GO Ultra
GO Ultra adds 50% to the bet, $1.50 at $1, and can only be switched on in the idle base game. In return, every base-game win gets a permanent x2 multiplier (instant prizes excluded), the Dimensional Multiplier is always x5, and the Treasure Room starts with 4 lives. Cash prizes in the Treasure Room stay based on the base bet.
GO Ultra switched on: x2 beside the logo, GO Ultra 1.50 and a bet of 1.50 at a $1 base bet. FluxPlays demo test, 26 October 2026.
RTP and max win
The game's paytable and rules state no RTP. Review sites list 96.2% as the top version, with versions down to 84.2% that casinos can choose, and rate the volatility from medium-high to high; the practice demo does not show which version it runs.

Played on Play'n GO's official practice demo in one session from a 25,000.00 balance, with all 110 rounds matched to the game server's log. The demo shows credits without a currency label; we count one credit as one dollar. Every base spin was at 1.00 with GO Ultra off. Paid mode: GO Ultra, 10 spins at $1.50, $15.00 in, $4.70 back. The Dimensional Multiplier and the Treasure Room did not appear and are described from the rules. On spin 96 a communication-delay message showed for about half a minute and cleared by itself; the round settled correctly. The rules state no RTP, so no version is shown. Totals from the spin log: $115.00 staked, $53.70 returned, ending at 24,938.70. A session this size cannot measure the RTP or the volatility.
The test ran in a single session on Play'n GO's official practice demo, starting from 25,000.00. The demo's credits carry no currency label, so we count each one as a dollar. It opened at exactly 1.00, and all 100 base spins ran there with GO Ultra off; then we played 10 GO Ultra spins at $1.50. All 110 rounds were matched to the game server's log.
Wins were frequent and small. Thirty-nine spins paid, 22 of them under $1, and the losing runs never went past 6 spins.
The best cascade paid $6.00 on spin 29, then $4.00 on spin 25 and $3.80 on spin 86. The first 50 spins returned $29.60 and the last 50 $19.40, for $49.00 in all and a closing balance of 24,949.00.
Bob reached a monster once, on spin 96, for a $1.00 instant prize. During that round the demo showed a "delay in communication" message for about half a minute, then cleared it by itself and settled the round correctly.
We saw neither the Dimensional Multiplier nor the Treasure Room, so both come from the rules here. The 10 GO Ultra spins at $1.50 returned $4.70. The full session came to $115.00 staked and $53.70 returned, closing at 24,938.70.
A session without the bonus cannot measure the RTP or the volatility.
Is Tower Run Treasure Steps worth trying?
In our view the Win-O-Meter is a neat way to tie the base game to the bonus. Every spin is a small chase: three wins bring wilds, the wilds help reach six, and six brings a multiplier and more wilds that can push the cascade to nine.
Bob's climb adds a steady drip of instant prizes on top, and the Treasure Room, with chests worth up to 5,000x and lives that refill, has a high ceiling.
The catch is that the meter resets every spin, so all nine wins must come from one cascade chain, and with card ranks needing seven of a kind, that is a lot to ask; in our 100 spins we never saw the multiplier stage.
There is no buy to skip the climb. GO Ultra's permanent x2 makes more sense here than in most games, because it doubles every base-game win, not just the bonus.
By both games' rules, Tome of Madness is the closest Play'n GO model: a 5x5 cascading grid where winning symbols charge a portal that adds special wilds at 7, 14 and 27, then a free round at 42.
Wild Frames uses a charge meter too, with features at 20, 40 and 60 winning symbols and its big release at 80. Tower Run counts wins rather than symbols, and its top prize is a hold-and-spin round instead of free spins.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play the Tower Run Treasure Steps demo for free?+
Yes. This page loads Play'n GO's official practice version with no account. It holds 25,000 credits with no currency label and opens at 1.00 a spin; a GO Ultra pop-up appears on loading, and the mode stays off unless you switch it on. Bob's climb is saved per bet level, so changing the bet loads a different path.
How does the Win-O-Meter work in Tower Run Treasure Steps?+
Every win in a spin, cascades included, adds one charge, and the meter empties at the start of each spin. Three charges drop 1 to 4 wilds, six add a x2 to x5 multiplier for the rest of the spin with more wilds, and nine start the Treasure Room once the grid is still.
What happens in the Treasure Room?+
It is a 5x5 hold-and-spin round with 3 lives. Coins worth x1 to x5 the base bet pay at once and stick; Mimic chests stick, count down from 4 to 12 spins and open for x10 up to x5,000; keys open a chest at once. Any coin, Mimic or key refills the lives. We did not reach it in 100 spins.
What does GO Ultra do in Tower Run Treasure Steps?+
It adds 50% to the bet, $1.50 at a $1 base, for three upgrades: a permanent x2 multiplier on all base-game wins except instant prizes, a fixed x5 Dimensional Multiplier, and 4 lives in the Treasure Room. Our 10 GO Ultra spins cost $15.00 and returned $4.70.
What are the RTP and max win of Tower Run Treasure Steps?+
The game's rules state no RTP. Review sites list 96.2% as the top version, with versions down to 84.2%, and rate it medium-high to high volatility, so check the game information at your casino. The paytable caps wins at 30,000x the bet, and Mimic chests in the Treasure Room can be worth up to 5,000x.
