Wrappin' More Gold is a Play'n GO slot released on 22 October 2026, a follow-up to Wrappin' Gold: a 5x3 Egyptian game with 20 lines where scatter gems fill three pots above the reels, and a cartoon mummy grows from 2x2 to 5x5 while it collects coins in the Collect & Win feature. Bonus Spins, a jackpot pick and GO Ultra round it out, with a 6,000x cap. We played the Wrappin' More Gold slot demo for 100 spins at $1 and tried GO Ultra.

What is the Wrappin' More Gold slot?

The reels stand between purple temple pillars in a desert of pink pyramids, with a grinning sphinx behind them. Three sarcophagus pots sit on top, labelled Expanding Reels, Double Symbols and Re-spins + Multipliers, flanked by a Bonus Spins chest and an Instant Bonus chest, and the four jackpots run along the top: GRAND 2,000, MAJOR 100, MINOR 10 and MINI 5 at a $1 bet.

The symbols include the mummy, a pharaoh, a queen, a scarab and an Eye of Horus, with card ranks below.

The 20 lines are fixed, and a line win must start on the leftmost reel. The gold pyramid wild lands on every reel and substitutes for everything except scatter gems, Bonus Spins symbols and mummies.

Scatter gems in red, green and purple carry cash values on the reels and drop into the pot of their colour, while Bonus Spins symbols and wilds go into the chests. Bets run from $0.20 to $40, and there is no bonus buy or gamble.

Wrappin' More Gold bonus features

Collect & Win

A mummy on reel 1 together with at least one scatter gem, or at random any scatter gem, starts Collect & Win. The value of the gems that triggered it goes straight into the round's counter.

Then only coins and gems land: coins worth 1x to 10x the bet fill the board, and any that fall inside the mummy's area are collected. Collect & Win gems worth 1x to 20x are collected too.

The mummy starts at 2x2 and grows as gems arrive: 5 gems make it 3x3 with 3 more spins, 4 more make it 4x4 with 2 more spins, and 3 more make it 5x5 with 1 more spin. Everything is paid when the round ends, and the Mini and Minor jackpots can be won inside it.

The three pots

The pot that triggers the round sets its version, and up to three pots can be active at once. Expanding Reels gives 5 spins on an 8x5 reel set with a 2x2 mummy.

Re-spins + Multipliers adds gems that give an extra spin and gems that put a 2x or 3x multiplier on the mummy's area for the next spin, with re-spins capped at 37. Double Symbols adds double coins and double gems, whose two values can differ.

Bonus Spins and the Instant Bonus

Three or more Bonus Spins symbols, or at random any one, award 6 Bonus Spins. Three more during the feature add 3 re-spins, up to 33, and Collect & Win and the Instant Bonus are easier to trigger while it runs.

Any landing wild can start the Instant Bonus: 15 mystery symbols on screen, and the first prize revealed three times is won. Mini pays 5x, Minor 10x, Major 100x and Grand 2,000x the total bet. At any moment, the mummy can also walk across the screen with a pile of cash and award one of the five bonus games.

GO Ultra

GO Ultra adds 50% to the bet, $1.50 at $1, in exchange for stronger features: Collect & Win starts with 3 extra gems on its meter, and it triggers more easily during Bonus Spins. It does not raise line wins or instant prizes, and it can only be switched in the idle base game.

RTP and max win

The game's own rules and paytable state no RTP. Review sites list 96.2% as the top version, with versions as low as 84.2% that casinos can run, and rate the game medium volatility; the practice demo does not show which version it runs. The paytable states the cap: "Win up to 6000x your bet with regular bets!"

Our Wrappin' More Gold demo test

We played Play'n GO's official practice demo in one session from a 25,000.00 balance. The demo shows no currency, so we count each credit as one dollar. It opened at exactly 1.00 a spin, and all 100 base spins ran there with GO Ultra off; then we played 10 GO Ultra spins at $1.50. All 110 rounds were matched to the game server's log, and no demo error appeared.

Gems dropped into the pots on many spins, but the session's shape was set early. Spins 7 to 17 paid nothing, the longest dry run. Then spin 18 landed a mummy on reel 1 with a scatter gem and started Collect & Win.

The screen counted 8 of 8 spins, and the round closed on a BIG WIN of $24.00, 24x the bet, which took the balance to 25,008.00.

That was a single result. Of 35 winning spins, 14 paid under $1, and the next best were $8.50 on spin 24 and $5.75 on spins 32 and 54. Without spin 18, the other 99 spins returned $51.00. In all, the 100 base spins returned $75.00, ending on 24,975.00, the session's low for the base game.

The 10 GO Ultra spins at $1.50 returned $1.75, from a single win on the ninth. Across all 110 rounds we staked $115.00 and got $76.75 back, ending on 24,961.75.

We never saw Bonus Spins, the Instant Bonus, a jackpot or the walking mummy, so those come from the rules. A sample this size says nothing reliable about the RTP or the volatility.

Is Wrappin' More Gold worth trying?

In our view Collect & Win is a good feature with a lot going on. The three pots let the gems you collect between bonuses decide what kind of round you get, the growing mummy rewards every gem with a bigger catchment area and extra spins, and two or three pots at once can stack an 8x5 board, double symbols and multipliers in one round.

The trouble is the rest of the game. The line wins are small, the Instant Bonus is pure luck of the pick, and with no buy the features have to arrive on their own. GO Ultra's 50% extra only improves Collect & Win, so it makes sense only if that is the feature you are playing for.

No other Play'n GO review on our site shares this collect mechanic. The closest live model is Big Bass Bonanza, where, by both games' rules, a collector symbol, the fisherman, gathers the cash values of fish on screen during free spins. Wrappin' More Gold moves that idea into a growing area: coins pay only if they land inside the mummy, and the mummy grows with every set of gems.
