Triple Hop Pots strips a slot down to a 3x3 grid with five lines and puts its value in one free spins round, which any frog scatter can start at random and where Money symbols up to 500x meet reel multipliers that stack. It is quick to learn and its rules are clear, but the gems pay 0.5x to 1x, there is no wild, buy or ante, and the round starts with only 6 spins.

What is the Triple Hop Pots slot about?

The scene is a hot spring at sunset, with pagodas, a waterfall and drifting cherry blossom. On the gold frame above the reels sit the three frogs: green, red with a gold crown, and purple. The game is laid out for a phone held upright, so on a desktop it fills a narrow middle column, with scenery on both sides and the controls under the grid.

Wins pay on five fixed lines, the three rows and both diagonals, from the leftmost reel. Three of a kind is the only pay, and wins on several lines are added together. At a $1 bet the pearl in a gold shell pays $10, the goldfish $5 and the lotus $2, while the blue heart, red and green gems pay $1, $0.80 and $0.50. There is no wild.

By Pragmatic Play's numbers, one spin in 4.54 wins something (22.03%) and free spins come once every 89.70 spins on average. In our session 18 of the 100 spins paid.

Triple Hop Pots bonus features

Frog scatters and the random trigger

Each frog has a scatter in its own colour, and each colour lands on one reel only: green on reel 1, red on reel 2 and purple on reel 3. A scatter that lands is collected by its frog. Whenever one, two or three of them land, free spins can start at random, and the round opens with the modifier of each scatter that set it off.

Watching the frogs collect looks like progress, but the rules call the collection a graphical representation for entertainment. It does not count toward anything: the trigger is a random draw each time scatters land, and a frog that has gathered plenty is no closer to the bonus. Scatters carry no pay of their own.

Triple Hop Pots rules page: three-of-a-kind pays at $1 from the $10 pearl to the $0.50 green gem, above the green, red and purple scattersThe rules: one pay per symbol, for three of a kind, and a frog collection that is only graphical. FluxPlays demo test, 16 October 2026.

Free spins and Money symbols

The round starts with 6 free spins on special reels, and it is the only place the Money symbol appears. Each one takes a random value of 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 25x, 50x, 100x or 500x the bet. Money symbols are not paid one by one: the game collects every value that lands and pays the total, after multipliers, once the round is complete.

The frog multipliers

Each modifier fixes multipliers to set reels. Green adds x2 to reels 1 and 2. Red adds x3, x6 and x3 to reels 1, 2 and 3. Purple adds x2 to reels 2 and 3. Each is added to any multiplier a reel already has and applies to every Money symbol landing there. All three frogs reach the middle reel, where red's x6 is the biggest single boost.

During the round, scatters can still land and at random trigger more modifiers, and each time one or more do, 3 free spins are added. The rules do not say whether a modifier that is already active can trigger again, and the review sites we checked disagree on it, so we leave that open. A round that reaches 5,000x the bet stops at once.

Triple Hop Pots free spins rules: 6 free spins, the gold Money symbol worth 0.5x to 500x, and the green, red and purple reel multipliersThe free spins rules: each frog's multipliers are added to whatever a reel already holds. FluxPlays demo test, 16 October 2026.

The three-pot design, with reel multipliers that raise Money symbols, follows the one in Triple Pot Gold, but Triple Hop Pots is a new game rather than a sequel. It has no Buy Feature and no ante or other special bet, either in the demo or in the rules, so spinning is the only way to reach the bonus.

Played on the official demo with play money, one spin at a time with autoplay off. The game has no Buy Feature, ante bet, Super Spins or other modes, so the 100 base spins were the whole test. From the spin log: $100.00 staked and $26.90 returned, matching the server balance after spin 100. Spin 33 paid $10.00; the other 99 spins returned $16.90. Scatters landed on 21 spins and never triggered free spins. 100 spins cannot measure the 96.50% RTP or the volatility.

We played 100 spins at $1 on the official demo, starting each one by hand with autoplay off, and got $26.90 back. Only 18 spins paid: eight under $1, nine from $1.00 to $2.40 and one above that. The dry spells were long, with two runs of 11 losing spins, from spin 22 to 32 and from spin 38 to 48.

Spin 33 was the only real hit. Three goldfish landed on the middle row and three on the diagonal from the top left, each line paying $5.00, for $10.00, or 10x the bet. It was a one-off: the other 99 spins returned $16.90 between them.

Triple Hop Pots spin 33 at a $1 bet, settled: goldfish on the middle row and the diagonal, WIN $10.00 and LINE 5 PAYS $5.00Spin 33 of 100 at $1: two goldfish lines for $10.00, our biggest win. FluxPlays demo test, 16 October 2026.

The gems paid for everything else. Every other amount in our spin log adds up from the $0.50, $0.80 and $1.00 gem pays, so the lotus and the pearl never completed a line. The balance sat below its starting point after every spin and ended at its lowest, $73.10 down, with spins 71 to 100 paying just three times, $2.00 in all.

Scatters were not rare. At least one landed on 21 of the 100 spins, 22 in all with two on spin 90, and none of them started free spins. So we never saw the round, a Money symbol, a reel multiplier or a retrigger; everything said about them here comes from the rules. A single 100-spin session cannot confirm a 96.50% RTP or a volatility label.

Is Triple Hop Pots worth trying?

The appeal is how little there is to learn: three reels, five lines and one bonus, and any frog scatter, even a lone one, can start it. The value is concentrated in that round, where Money symbols worth up to 500x land on reels that can hold several multipliers at once. With all three modifiers in play, the middle reel carries x2, x6 and x2.

The cost of that simplicity is a thin base game. Three of a kind on five lines is the only way to win, the three gems pay 0.5x to 1x, and there is no wild. The round opens with just 6 spins, nothing lets you buy it or bet more to reach it sooner, and the frogs' collection is decoration, not progress.

The intro screen and the rules page both show a MEDIUM VOLATILITY badge, and Pragmatic Play lists it the same way, while two of the review sites we checked rate it low. We follow the game's own label. The rules describe medium volatility as steady pays that range from low to very high; our 100 spins only saw the low end.

Triple Hop Pots intro screen: the logo over three frogs in a hot spring with gold coins, WIN UP TO 5,000 X BET and a MEDIUM VOLATILITY badgeThe intro screen names the volatility the game runs at: medium. FluxPlays demo test, 16 October 2026.

For the same 3x3, five-line frame with prize wheels instead of free spins, and a buy to reach them, 777 Wheel Blitz is a game we have tested with the same three RTP versions. From the same POP studio, Gates of Olympus POP is another upright game without a buy, built on pay-anywhere tumbles and multiplier orbs instead of lines.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I play the Triple Hop Pots demo for free?+

Yes. This page runs Pragmatic Play's official Triple Hop Pots demo with play money, so there is nothing to sign up for or deposit. It loads at a $2.00 bet; five presses of the minus button, $0.20 each, took ours down to $1.00. The demo has no Buy Feature or special bets, so free spins only come from spinning, and on a desktop it plays in a narrow upright column.

How do you trigger free spins in Triple Hop Pots?+

With the frog scatters: green lands on reel 1, red on reel 2 and purple on reel 3. Each time one, two or three land, the round can start at random, opening with the modifiers of the scatters that triggered it. Collecting them in the frogs does not count toward anything. Our 100 spins showed 22 scatters on 21 spins and no trigger.

How do the frog multipliers work in Triple Hop Pots?+

They only exist in free spins. Green puts x2 on reels 1 and 2, red puts x3, x6 and x3 on reels 1 to 3, and purple puts x2 on reels 2 and 3, each on top of any multiplier a reel already holds. They raise the Money symbols landing on those reels, worth 0.5x to 500x the bet, and the total is paid when the round ends.

Is Triple Hop Pots low or medium volatility?+

Medium. The game shows a MEDIUM VOLATILITY badge on its intro screen and its rules page, and Pragmatic Play lists it as medium too. Two of the three review sites we checked call it low; we follow the game. In our sample, medium did not mean frequent wins: 82 of 100 spins paid nothing.

What are the RTP and max win of Triple Hop Pots?+

The demo runs at 96.50%, the only RTP its rules list, and Pragmatic Play also makes 95.50% and 94.50% versions for casinos to choose from. The maximum win is 5,000x the bet, and a free spins round that reaches it ends there. Bets go from $0.10 to $250; one review site's text gives a much lower top bet, but the game's rules say $250.
